  1. 06 KTM SXF Brothers...I just purchased one two weeks ago and I'm having a few issues. Even when the engine is warm / hot, the amount of popping and backfiring seems to be getting worse. It's to the point that the engine shuts down during deceleration. At that point, it is indeed difficult to restart. My local dealer suggested I should change the plug for starters. Unfortunately, the bike did not come with a plug wrench in the tool kit so the dealer provided one from a 06 525 EXE. According to the dealer, the plug sizes are the same but I can not seem to get a bead on the existing plug with this wrench to get it out. Has anyone encountered difficulties in simply removing the existing plug?
