    95 620RXC, Should I buy it?

I'm not trying to be a wiseass but where do I find springs that heavy? I checked Racetech's site and they said .54 in front and 8 something in the rear but don't carry either. Where else can I turn? Go thru KTM? About the E-start the salesman claims it has it but there was no battery. Also it had what looked like a cylindrical oil cooler/catch can mounted below the carb to the cases. What the heck is it? I plan on thinking it thru carefully before leaping into it but I've always liked the big Katoom thumpers.

    95 620RXC, Should I buy it?

I want to get a bigbore D/S bike. A dealer nearby has a 95 KTM 620RXC. It has e-start but was moderately stripped down for offroad. Needs mirrors and turn signals I think. What would be a decent price? They haven't set a price yet cause it just came in. My last bike was an SV1000 so I know I can handle the power. Also where can I get superduty springs? I weigh in abouts 300 lbs. I sat on it and the back sagged about 6 inches so new spring would be needed. D/S bikes are rare around here so if I can I want to snap this up. I used to have a DR350SE and loved it but it was dog slow on the street, I figure a big Katoom would be fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

    Can Motos Save The World?

The bad side to everyone on bikes, the jerks that cut you off all the time will still do it. Imagine a NASCAR attitude guy riding probaly a crotchrocket weavng through everybody, if we're lucky they would only kill themselves off instead of taking a few with them. Then BIG BROTHER steps in. No more than 15hp would be legal. Illegal mods and bikes would pop up everywhere. Social order would collapse. Gov't would be overthrown. Chaos and anarchy would reign over the land. He who has the most ammo would win. Dang sounds good to me Gotta go buy another case of 7.62

Heavyweight friendly or Not, the 650?

I have been searching out all info I could about 650 dualsports. I was at XR's Only I think and saw a chart of recommended spring rates for the 650L and at 300 lbs I was "off the chart". At 280 a .47 front and 12.5 rear was recommended. A 650L weighs about the same as a DR650 so I would think I would need the same rates .????????? Hey milk, I live in NW Pa near Pymatuning.

Heavyweight friendly or Not, the 650?

Can a DR650 be setup too handle agressive trail riding for a 300 lbs. rider? 50 lbs and 6 years ago I had a DR350SE and really enjoyed it, cept it was mushy feeling in the suspension. My old bike, an SV1000S, got totaled 2 months ago and if I can I plan on getting a DR650 as soon as I can, new or used. I figure I don't belong on a sportbike anyways. It clashes with my lifted Chevy truck on 36's : ) Overall I like the DR650 over the XR650L but can I get it sprung stiff enough to handle the abuse of being under me ? I appreciate any and all help given. Thank you
