  1. Thanks for your help.....it looks like someone has tried to have a go at it in the past as the corners are quite rounded on the head. I will give it a bit more force but I have tried to move it both in and out already and I have put a bit of weight behind it?. Cheers
  2. Hey! How did you fix this? My RMZ spring SFF has done exactly the same. Cheers
  3. Hi Guys, I have just gone and collected myself a very tidy 2013 RMZ450! Been a few years since I have had a bike. Anyway, I went to set the clickers on the forks to the factory settings as I am not sure where the previous owner set them and I can not get the preload adjuster on the top of the right fork to move at all. I don't want to force anything so I thought I would ask and see if anybody has had a similar issue or has a tip. Cheers!
  4. Oem it is then, i just priced them today and they are actually cheaper!
  5. Do you guys install genuine chains or after market?
  6. Love it!
  7. Hi, i am the new owner of a 06 250f!! had it about a week and it goes great. I am going to replace the top end next week and was wondering if I should do the cam chain as well? The bike has done about 50 odd hours from new and it runs and starts great! At how many hours are you guys replacing the cam chain? Thanks for your help.
  8. sorry guys iv ended up buying a yzf250....it was local and i got a great deal on it as the owner was moving country:ride:
  9. thanks for the feedback...... i'm still a bit worried about the expense involved if it dropped a valve or something(being a two stroke fan). Being such a performance engine im not sure how it would go. I'm not convinced yet! lol
  10. Looking into buying this bike? Does anyone out there have any experience with them? Good or bad.... I am a fan of TM's! Any feed back would be great  http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=416756727
  11. Thanks for the tips
  12. Im looking at getting back into riding after being out of the sport for a couple of years. I am thinking about getting a 06+ yz 125. I just love the buzz of riding 125 bikes. My local track is quite flat and suits smaller bikes. Is there any faults I should look for when buying a used YZ125. Cheers for your input. Brendan:ride:
  13. Thanks for the info guys!! I think it has single stage reeds in it now and before it had dual so the reed stoppers have not been put in.... being the problem! Can't wait to get it corrected and get back on the track. Thanks Jock
  14. Have just broken the reeds on my 04 yz 250. My shop has installed new ones (not sure of the brand) but now the bike still has a flutter at mid to high revs. I think somone in the past has removed the stoppers (metal curved bits) or does this model even have them?. Could this be the probem? as the original reeds may have not required them but the new ones do. Any thoughts to the matter would be great!! The motor has just been freshened up so that side of it is ok. Cheers Jock
  15. Thanks for the info guys! looks like the 250's box might get a change around shortly. I like the sound of keeping the 1st and 2nd gears for tight stuff but having the longer legs up top. Those 4st will be eating even more dust haha.
