  1. I will have to plan for next year. We are heading to Canada for labor day and won't have the extra funds to go right after.
  2. Congrats! Nice ring! As for sewing the dress yourself it really isn't all that hard, just like sewing anything else you just have to be careful and not rip out any stitching or it will show. I think you should be able to do it having seen some of the stuff you have done.
  3. Congrats on the promotion!
  4. Ok I haven't been on here in a really long time. If you want my opinion go with the 125, of course most people don't want my opinion. What ever you do don't let someone talk you into something that you aren't interested in. You of all people know how you ride and how you want to ride, I think that is the best way to determine what bike is best for you.
  5. Don't ya just love the human body!
  6. I am struggling to get the blood glucose levels where they need to be. I am on the pills, which is way better than having to stick yourself with needles like I did when I was pregnant. Of course I am not doing absolutely everything I should be, it is tough sometimes to fit in all the stuff. The Dr figures that if I loose the extra weight that I am carrying that it will help if not eliminate the problem. I am very slowly loosing it and it has seemed to help a little. All I can say is that now you are aware of the problem you can take the steps to avoid further complications. At least you are active and your weight is good so if all you have to do is work on the foods you eat you are lucky.
  7. Mothermac I have PCOS as well but it went undiagnosed until I was pregant with our daughter and ended up with gestional diabetes. Of course now I have diabetes thanks to all the wonderful things that are going on in my body. Just listen to what your DR has to say and keep a wathcful eye on things. Don't panic about it.
  8. Welcome
  9. It is not that riding wasn't possible it just wasn't the greatest til this week. It has been very windy and I hate riding in the wind when it is so strong it blows me all over the place. My bike is not in the shop, I wish that was the problem. I have a TTR 125 and I have seriously outgrown it but can't afford to buy a different bike at the moment so I figured that if I could manage hubby's bike then at least I would be happy til the funds are there for a different bike for me.
  10. Isn't it a wonderful feeling when you finally do something that you have wanted to do for so long and find it is easier that you thought.
  11. We were finally able to go riding in the evening last night. It was the perfect day yesterday. I am hoping that we will get out more and more as the weather gets nicer. I am hoping that I will have figured out how to ride hubby's bike with some sort of comfort before we end up at the sand dunes and I have no choice but to ride his bike or sit at camp all day. Of course if our plans don't fall through that leaves me a month.
  12. That sucks, hope you only have a sprain. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  13. Good for you FC. Have fun.
  14. Now that is the best movitator I have heard of in a long time. I keep stealing hubby's bike in hopes that he will get me a new one but unfortunately since only one of us can ride at a time because we take the kid to the track with us it isn't working. Knowing my luck I will just end up getting his bike and he will get the new one.
  15. Welcome.
