  3. Thanks guys. Unfortunately I run the ktm hard parts unbreakable levers so I don't have that black knob. Do I just adjust my levers out?
  4. Well I have a 2013 sxf 250 and the bike is super hard to start unless it is in neutral. It catches when I shift down to first and jumps a little bit. I'm just wondering how to adjust it to disengage. Not to familiar with hydraulic clutches. On a side note it's a holeshot machine now!
  5. I know what tdc is. There is just usually a mark or something that makes it easier to find it. Well I found it today and the easiest way to do it on my 2013, since I didn't have the marks on my cam, was through the hole below my water pump.
  6. Haha I know what tdc is but thanks anyways. And mog thanks, I'll give that a try.
  7. Thanks for the link. Great write up. But I'm either blind or the 2013 doesn't have those punches or flat spots on cams to adjust timing to tdc. Can someone explain this?
  8. I've been doing a lot of searching and can't seem to find anything on a 2013 sxf250 valve adjustment. My main concern right now is finding tdc. Could someone lead me to a link that explains this for a 2013?
  9. Anyone know where I can find a write up or video on a valve adjustment and/or rebuild for a 2013?
  10. Well I have a 2013 sxf 250 and this weekend when I showed up to the races it wouldn't start. So I bump started it for the first set of motos and it ended up stalling on me. After the first set of motos I changed the spark plug, charged the battery, and still wouldn't start and ended up stalling again. It also started smoking out blue out of the oil overflow tube or w.e. I'm guessing it's my valves but just wondering what you guys think?
  11. Well. Im doing A build from ground up... Not even starting with a stock 110 im buying all the junk. I have a feeling that this 65 rear end is realy guna be that nice and my brother has been looking up info and it doesnt seem like its shouldbe that hard.. maybe a little time consumeing but not bad. If your thinking of buying a stock 65 instead of a modded 110. I am still yet a kid too im only 14 but in my opion the nicer the bike looks and the faster it is the faster it makes myself feel and it makes me have so much more pride in the sport even if i do fail. The aftermarket parts and what ppl do to there bikes to me is sorta like a competition to see who can have the nicest bike and almost no bike is alike if you build it yourself and when its built ground up its like youve created something noone else has and than you get that feeling the first time you see it together and kick it over i get buterflies in my stomach and a smile from ear to ear knowing that i have a bike like noeone elses!!!!!! lol
  12. Well I decided to go the cheap but mind bottling route and buy the 65 rear end. I got it pretty cheap so I proud of my buy. But for the mind bottling part I was wondering If anyone had ever done this befor and would wanna give me a walkthrough maybe with some pictures. I dont want any of that just buy a 2bros or crap like that i dont have the money. So if ppl would jsut hepl me that would be nice. I already did a search too. Thanx
  13. Well there is one problem. I cannot have my moms x husband or my mom know I messed it or i will have to pay some money and im working on buying a klx110 and so I have no money to spare but I am a decent mechanic. My moms x husband is gone monday threw friday.
  14. Well will the belt like try out or do i have to take it out.... If so how do i take it out.
  15. Yesterday I was driving around in my polaris ranger and got i stuck in about 2.5 feet off water and at a point the hole thing was under water. I had to get my four wheeler to come pull it out cuz i was inbetween this cliff deal. We got it out and it runs but when i accelerate the motor will rev but it will go like 3 miles an hour. Everyonce in awhile something will catch and it will go. I was thinking that maybe there was a belt in there that got realy wet and now its slipping or idk does anyone have any idea wut this could be.
