    Broken Pilot housing

I do have a 42 Pilot and will try it next week. Thanks for the help.
  2. A friend was installing a JD Jet Kit for me. The housing that the pilot jet sits up in was broken in the process. I had lots of problems with the idle at first. Yesterday I changed the pilot from a 45 to a 40, Main Jet is 172, JD needle at three clicks, MRD header and pipe, stock air box. Sea level to 1500 ft, Alabama 85 degrees, 2005 Honda CRF 250R. The bikes seems to run great with the smaller pilot, although while running, I turn up the fuel screw until it starts to stall, then turn it down until is smooths out and that is only about 1/2 a turn. Do I still need a smaller pilot jet? Does the broken housing make a difference? If a picture is needed I can get one. Thanks.

Alert: Stolen Bikes from Baltimore Area

I keep my bike in a storage facility, but still worry about people cutting the lock. Taking off the rear wheel is an awesome idea, thanks.
