    KYB TC Oil Level

you will need to fit some 7mm spacers between the IC springs and IC piston to build up pressure in those forks this will help rod return fully

    Details on 2011 KX250F

they will need to purchase a spring removal tool just like road bike forks, the spring preload tube needs to be pulled down about two inches to get to the lock nut and its one tough spring, a two man job really.

    KYB Shock lockup

bet you havent seen it happen on kawasakis last 4-5 years (05 onwards) i have had 3-4 cusomers with yams with the problem, after this mod it didnt happen again.

    KYB Shock lockup

it will be the piston ring, behind it are two o-rings the air behind the ring, and between the o-rings heats up and expands the ring to sieze the unit. when it cools down it retracts. drill a hole in the ring like the kawasaki piston and problem solved.

grinding off the peening should be good enough, mine picked up from the bottom end of the threads nearest the washer, shims an piston etc. if it was just the peening you would ony damage the nut threads. the threads seemed brittle. the second one i did was fine, maybe just had a bad one but got spare shafts made just in case. as for clamp shims they are 23mm OD comp and 28mm OD rebound.

diff. rebound setting on KYB Forks !

the rod thicknesses are different, the 07 kwack is 12mm, and the 09 honda is 12.5mm- less oil flow so needs more damping.
