    Diesel truck, "pulled the trigger"

Also won truck of the year.
  3. I'd go through it with a fine tooth comb. Inspect the hell out of it. Check the welds on the trailer frame and check frame for straightness. See if theres any seperation between the ceiling and walls, inside and out. Check the shackles on the axles, some years/models of WW have issues. Check plumbing as well. Get under the trailer and make sure the plumbing is supported underneath. Have him fire up the water heater, inspect the propane and water lines. Run the water, turn on the shower, flush the crapper, touch everything! Make sure its satisfactory. If there are issues, remember WW is no longer around to do warranty work. You can also tell a lot from a seller by their demeanor when talking to them. Are they rushing you or unwilling to explain things clearly? These are signs that they may be hiding a problem with the trailer. Its up to you, but if I'm not comfortable with the seller, I'd walk. I guess what Im getting at is to inspect the hell out of it. If you dont know to much about toyhaulers, bring a friend that does. Or maybe a tech from a RV dealership would take an hour to help you look at it. Doesnt hurt to ask. Good luck.
  4. This isnt in line with what others are posting, but I've been keeping an eye on this Chevy Blazer on a Corvette chassis. Talk about a sleeper... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619&item=180584514395&viewitem=&category=6154

Hmm. How are your battery's wired together?

    Battery Boxes

I have the same ones for my 6 volts. I did however have to cut some holes in them to pass the battery cables through. Other then that, their great boxes for the money.

Its true. The 6.7 is IMO the truck to have. Gobs of power all over and an interior that can rival a lot of luxury cars. The microsoft sync feature is really cool too. So many features that I still cant remember how to use them all. My buddy who has an '08 duramax 3500 was blown away when he hopped in and stepped on the gas. That says a lot because he is a die hard chevy guy. Sorry to get off topic. Great lookin truck ToyotaMD! Congrats.
  8. Hey, those look real good. I like em. Did you get them from Nfab too?
  9. Yeah I looked on Nfabs site too and they didnt list the 2011. I guess I could always call them and find out. Post up some pics of your Harley tailights! I wanna see.
  10. Thanks, it came that way. Thanks, I'll check out the N Fab and the Smittybilt. Price seems pretty good and I'll look at Ebay for some lights. I want to wire them to one of the upfitter switches in the cab. The tires are Nitto grapplers - 37" on 22" wheels. I had the same size on my '08 f250 except they were Toyo m/t's. The Nittos do seem to be a bit quieter on the road. The 6.7 is a blast to drive, and I'm loving the ford sync setup. My best truck yet for sure. BTW, would the Smittybilt lightbar that was made for the 2010 f250 fit the 2011? I cant find anything that lets you choose 2011.
  11. Real nice setup. Where did you get your light bar and PIAA lights? I have a 2011 F250 that I want to set up with some aftermarket lights. Thanks.
  12. Your stripping the screws because your using the wrong tool. You need to invest in some JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) screwdrivers. They are the Japanese version of the phillips head. A standard American phillips will definitely cam out and strip the screw (as your experiencing). Vessel makes a good quality driver and their not expensive. Check it : http://www.rjrcooltools.com/shop_item_detail.cfm?subcat_ID=65
  13. Just a shot in the dark here, but you may need your torque wrench re-calibrated. What brand torque wrench are you using?

    Toy Hauler experience

I didnt see an option or standard feature that includes the generator. Also the floor plan diagram only shows one front mounted battery. Make sure you can at least mount another one up there. One thing that may concern me is that you can only carry 50 gallons of fresh h2o. If you dry camp for an extended period of time, this may be an issue for you. I have to take a shower before I go to bed, I hate smelling like campfire (ok, my wife makes me). So we go through a lot of water when we camp, but we smell good.
