  1. Thanks all, I just looked at an old post on the KTM website and one guy told me to go ride red, get off their site and quit asking stupid questions. He was from California and I gave him an open invitation to Wyoming, shit I hope he takes it, f'n prick. Thanks Honda guys for your help Tommy J
  2. Up yours shitbird, The question isnt stupid if you dont know the answer and to be honest, the deal on the Honda fell through so I am still thinking KTM, but if it means being on forums with you as a resource, forget it, Next time your in Wyoming, look me up...please

  6. Oh, and the "asking price" is $2600.00
  7. The 400 is a 99 and it has hand guards, skid, and piped, looks in good shape, havent ridden...probably 60-40 street to dirt but dont want a dog when in the dirt, care more about the "dirtability" Thanks TJ
  8. I am looking at a 1997 xr250r and was wondering what it might go for. Also looking at a 1999 xr400. both seem to be in good shape, but some costs? I am 6'4" and 230 looking for trail riding and possible light duty work commute. Thanks for any input TJ
  9. I am not a motor head and dont want to be constantly jacking with valves and whatnot, I just want to ride. What bike is best for this as most of my riding is trail with the occational ride to work with no hwy. I am a change oil and airfilter kinda guy. I am 6'4" and 230lbs for the record. thanks TJ
  10. Thanks for all the info...I know have the power is great when you need it but having it show up when you dont is what scares the begeezus out of me.. My local dealer has a 525 on the floor, but no 400's. Is the 525 tame enough when you want it to be?
  11. I am not really wild about wrecking one of these new ones with a radiator and having to walk although I have heard they are nice. Some of the areas I want to ride are pretty damn remote. Thanks and keep it coming TJ
  12. What is the best air cooled bike with estart for someone who is a semi newbie that is 6'4" and 230 lbs for off road trail riding and some short commuter work, no hwy. Thanks for any help possible TJ
  13. I think I found what I was looking for, now for another question
  14. I am looking at a 99 xr400 and was wondering if it is possible to put a magic button on. Thanks for the help TJ
  15. Putting back and forth to work on all city streets, no HWY and wide open spaces less than 1/8 mile from the house.
