  1. carb is spot less, everything seems good to go, i wanna say electrical or cdi or something along lines of that, but a shop cant narrow it down, and i am not having any luck myself.
  2. I have a nx650 Honda, No one can tell me what wrong with this thing. It will rev up in neutral to about 5k to 5500 rpm, but riding it down the road, if i twist the throttle hard its cut outs and pops and sputters, i can get it to about 6500 rpm if i slowly roll on the throttle then its falls on its face and cuts out again, and if i stab the gas hard it will hit about 4500 rpm and just cut out and pop. Its like its hitting a rev limiter or starving for fuel. Can anyone help me out here? thanks! :)

  4. ok, well i am looking at a couple on ebay. I tore my bike apart, and i can rock the piston a little bit back and forth in the cylinder? i am guess from what i know, that is not ok.
  5. Will the cylinder and piston off of a 05 work on my 04?

  7. ther is .023 of play side to side on the crank bearing, but no up and down movement... Normal???.... Looks like the ring broke on the exhaust side of the piston. Why would that happen?, it only scored/marked that one side of the cylinder. There is no marks on the side of the cyilder from the side to side play. Looked great except for that one spot... here are some pics:
  8. i didn't go that far into the motor, i just saw that and i was like.. crap.. and stopped for the day. When i get home from school @day, i will take a picture and tear the rest down and see what is going on in there.... Really hope the crank isn't shot, i don't have the money to to just do a top end or a the head. haha:banghead:

Went ridding, Bike was warmed up and everything, was going down the street, got into the gas a little bit in 5 gear, but no limiter, then i hear a nice clattering sound... figured it was the head (2004), pull bike apart when i get home, and i can rock the piston in side the cylinder forward and back like a titer todder. So do i replace the whole thing, cylinder and pistion and all that or just new piston and rings and get a valve job done? what do you guys think needs to be done, i Do not wanna spend any more money than i really need to.   10. i dont race, track for fun, i dont ride that hard, or not as hard as when i was racing mini's but mostly glamis and stuff like that.
  11. nice find, thanks ill watch it and see if i can pick that up. I think i might just rebuild the head i have. SS valves and stuff like that and make it reliable. But i will keep my eye open. Thanks guys.
  12. 07 head and 08 cam from a 250. I checked Ebay, i haven't found anything. Does anyone know where i can get these? Does anyone have one sitting around. Thanks: A.J.
  13. I tried to search, but it is down. I have a 2004 Crf250r (4-stroke) It has a slip on White brother E2 pipe, with the race exhaust cap/tip in it, with a K&N filter. I bought the bike used. So i don't know if it has been jetted or not. Where should i start? i am in California not far from sea level. Thanks: A.J.
