  1. I have been there 5 or 6 times over the past 9 or so years and I love the Silverton area as there is so much access to trails from that area. The one mountain that you can see east of Siverton gives you a spectacular view looking back down on Siverton and the surrounding area. Can't remember the name of the mountain, but it's a little over 13,000 feet although the last 1/2 mile can get a little technical. We camped/stayed at the Red Mountain RV Campground/Motel and rode from there. What time next summer are you going?
  2. Hope your Doc prescribes some therapy by a qualified therapist. I found that got me back on the bike in about 2 months altho the Doc didn't like it. The therapy really really helps because when you wear that sling you loose that mobility and muscle tone. Best of luck.
  3. Absolutely. Any and all door prizes welcomed with exposure at the rider's meeting @ 8:30am. Don't forget full hot breakfast for the paltry sume of $4, plus free primitive camping.
  4. Hey Halfcab, appreciate all the info. Sound good.
  5. Make sure you call the "CALL BEFORE YOU HAUL HOTLINE" @803-561-4025 to make sure it's not closed due to wet trail conditions. Historically this place will close with a few drops of rain. Understand trails to be groomed in mid January 08.
