  1. Nope, only 3. Carmichael could still win if CR and JBS have issues. However, CR stayed with RC the whole race, I was there, and only in the end when a lapper cut CR off did RC get more then a second or tow lead. In fact it appeared up until that point that CR was going to pass him back. Traditionally CR does better on the tracks in the east and RC not so much. Throw JBS in there and as long as he doesn't crash he will win.
  2. Sitting in the hotel room after the race. Was a great race. RC won it but barely. RC passed CR on lap 11 or 12 but CR stayed with him until about lap 18 and a lapper cut him off and that gave RC about a 3.5 lead. Before that happened it appeared Reed was going to pass him back. JBS got tangled up in a first turn crash but went from last to 3rd by the end of the race. Great race. CR showed great speed and that he deserves the point lead. A lot of crashes tonight too. Red flagged the lites main too.
  3. He's totally out of it now. http://www.racerxill.com/images/breakingnews_popheader.jpg February 24, 2006 Penalty Issued for Illegal Fuel at San Diego Supercross - press release - PICKERINGTON, Ohio (February 24, 2006) – AMA Pro Racing has announced that Ricky Carmichael has been penalized 25 points for using illegal fuel at round six of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif., on February 11. Fuel samples from eight motorcycles were collected at the San Diego round and the sample from the motorcycle of Ricky Carmichael was found to be in non-compliance. Fuel from the motorcycles of Mike Alessi, Grant Langston, Jeremy McGrath, Nate Ramsey, Chad Reed, Andrew Short and James Stewart was found to be in compliance. As is required by the AMA Supercross/Motocross rulebook, the samples were sent to a certified testing lab which confirmed the results of the testing. AMA Pro Racing has required the use of unleaded fuel in the AMA Supercross Series and the AMA Motocross Championship since the 2004 racing season.
  4. Yeah heard that last week and he lost by a bigger gap this weekend.
  5. No doubt, It is hard to imagine JBS running away with it but it is looking more that wyy each race, RC nd CR have nothing for him.
  6. 'Interesting to watch him pace RC for a while the pull off and watch his lines. Then he start in after leaving a huge gap, then catch up pull off and watch some more." He was catching back up to RC?
