  1. no for my '06.... A buddy of mine has an extra header from his '05. Wanted to see if I could get lucky with having them match up.
  2. Are they interchangable? Will the '05 header fit on a '06 (OEM Header)?
  3. The pipe is crushed in pretty good. It has a huge kink in the bend and can not be fixed using the water/freezing method.
  4. Anybody have a extra stock header pipe in good condition for sale? I smashed mine up pretty good on the last ride. Tried getting the kink out but had no luck. I live in Apple Valley and am willing to drive to pickup. Let me know...Thanks in advance - Mike
  5. Here's my '06:
  6. Funny thing is, I had my GPS on me but didn't think I woud need to mark it because it was so close to where we camped that trip. Never did find it again.
  7. Hers's a few from the same day. Big Bear area:
  8. This is a step-up I found in the small dunes behind the washes in Glamis. This was really the first jump I ever hit (with a take-off & landing). You can see the take off to the left of the bushes in the 1st pic. A fun jump....just wish I could find it again:
  9. I have the same bike. Great bike. Read the manual for the maintenace schedule. Pretty easy to keep up with.
  10. I bought the same package from Chaparrel for my wife when she started out. I had to replace the boots within a year. They are junk. They offer the same amount of protection and support as a pair of cowboy boots. Buy a better set of boots from the get go.
  11. Just found this..........on the same topic: http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=489292

  13. First off, I always ride with a group. Between the 3 of us (who ride together everytime) we bring the following: - Pleanty of Water (each) - Tools (screwdrivers / allan wrenches / ratchet-sockets etc...) - First aid kits - Rope (in case a bike goes over the edge of a steep trail) - Zip Ties (all sizes) - Metal wire - Lighters (to start a fire if needed) - Cell Phones - GPS - Foil/Heat Blankets - Always some type of snacks (trail mix, beef jerky etc....) - Knifes - Map of the Area!!!!! Good idea with the hose clamps & flashing beacon Zeak! I'll have to pack that into the backpack now. Think about what to do if your riding alone and something more serious happens than an arm injury. It can happen! Even to the best of riders! I came across a guy riding alone before with a serious injury. There was no way for him to get out of there after his crash: http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=320264
  14. I agree with you blue..........pay like the rest of us. This will not pass the inspection. My buddy and I tried it with his bike and was turned away from Gorman. The spark arrestor did not pass. Had to run to the local MX shop and buy one. Plus now that I look back on it.........it really was a stupid idea. Risk starting a fire, closing another riding area and giving us riders another bad mark for what, $50.00 - $100.00. Go buy a REAL spark arrestor!
