  1. Wow thats a great price......never saw our 70 on sale for less than $ 549 here at our pepboys.....we still have ours.....had it for almost 1 year and its still running strong !!!....good solid bike...no problems what so ever......we ride pretty hard at times......love ours.....excellent bang for the buck.......remember only the people who own one and rode one deserve creditablity on their remarks and reviews.....the rest is just useless babbling and internet noise. KC 70 rules for the $$$$$$$$
  2. No truer words were spoken.....We had the 70cc for almost a year now.......and its been a great little bike.......yeah plastic is a little brittle.......but who cares for $600 as long as the bike runs great and it has and I weight 200 lbs.,........once again another good review from someone who's own one for almost a year and not one of those useless negative one liner remarks from a non-owner. IMHO ....you'll be hard press to find a better bike for $600 anywhere !!!!! The key word here is six hundred dollars.
  3. Now I know why I spend more time on the ATV connection site......nice people there....respectful posters there as well....and very mature......I see some really jealous kids here that have to prove there worth by trashing someone else's bike purchase......very immature if you ask me......most of the TRUE KC owners have left this thread because of the rudeness here......read the first few pages and you'll see what I'm talking about......Pepboy's bikes have fair quite well on the more "MATURE" bike sites....like ATV connection.....lots of owners ther giving real OWNERSHIP experience and not blowing a bunch of smoke up ones rear end......in closing and maybe my last post here......(PM me if you want my 5 Pepboy's ownership bike experience after 3 years an I'll answer your ?'s) I'M A VERY HAPPY KC POWERSPORTS pitbike owner....spent only $600 and I don't pretend to be Evil Knievel (spelling?)....but this old man can still race after 46 yrs.,....and I'm sure I'm older than most everybody on this thread and have play with and rode bikes longer than most here as well.....bottom line.......KC is a good bike for the price......thats fits my budget with all my other hobbies and toys.....bikes are toys to me....as long as they run well....I like them.....if you race for a living....get a bigger name brand bike.......to each his own.....nuff said.....I need to go hang out wih people my own age now....lol.....so see ya later....oh and stop by sometime and watch me run my cheapy bike around and catch me if you can.....thats a open invitation for all......NOT !!! Bozzy>>>>
  4. Proud 46 yr. old squid chiming in here.....bottom line if you are hard on your bikes and need parts all the time.....you are better off going with a name brand bike....maybe used....KC has a nice web site with all the parts listed......voice of experience here unlike some other guys around here who never even own one ?!?!......I said this before and I'll say it again....I've owned 5 Pepboy bikes in the last 3 years....all good bikes and save lots of money.....2-2 strokes......still own a 49cc Baja.....90cc Baja atv......and my new favorite KC 70 cc pitbike....(had not needed a single part for any of my bikes)....of which I've had 7 months now.....I'm 200 lbs. (rated for 225 in the book) and been over 40 mphs on this one...I have jump some been in a lot of dirt and done some street racing with this bike and the rest of mine.....for $ 599........show me a bike and store I could walk in here locally in Ohio and get a better bike and deal....?????......For the cash the KC'S are great !!!......again most of the negative advice you get here will be from guys who spend a lot more and race a lot more......but for the everday rider of which most of us are.....these KC bikes are a very good deal !!! OLD MAN SQUID SIGNING OFF NOW.......LOL
  5. Yo dude....how soon we forget.....if you go back a few pages of this thread.....you'll see some excellent reviews on the 70......of which a few of them were mine.....we had our 70 for 6 months......run's great..excellent bike !!!...and I'm sure the 110 is even better at the price you got yours for......but the 70 was in our budget with all the other bikes we have......I see our local PEPBOYS here has some new model BAJA bikes out that look similar to pit bikes....not bad for the price but not the same quality as the KC's......ENJOY & RIDE-ON !!!!!.... nice pics too.
  6. Go to a hardware store and but one of those 5" 4 hp rated baffler exhaust.......sand the threads down and taper the end a bit.....use some of that metal weld paste (called INFERNO and rated at 2000 degree's....most auto shops carry this) and stick it in......works greats only cost a few bucks.....I did this on one of my loud 2-stroke's I use to have......I have the KC 70.......but I like the loud sound and my boy thinks he riding a big bike.....we have louder bikes on our street so no big deal here....
  7. All good points mention above......I do prefer being able to walk in a store and inspect a bike over before buying, and taking it home that day.....Pepboys also took one bike back for me and replace it with another...(had a stuck choke on a 90 atv).....but they did know I was a good customer and took good care of me.....I like being able to do that.....I don't think if I order one from somebody that they would take a bike back and give me another......but thats ok....$600 to $800 is still a lot of money sight unseen for me......now if I can walk in a store and see a Pitster.......I would buy that way.....but thats just me.....I just need to see the value in person.....I have clock myself at over 40 mphs oN my 70cc KC with a GPS and I weight 200 lbs.,......they are pretty loud but I like the big bike sound......what you can do is get one of those 2-stroke weed eater (4" long baffler's) muffler......sand down the threads and taper the end (I did this to one of mine)....and attach to your current exhaust with some metal weld hardner paste .....it will make it much quieter.......I did this to a loud 2-stroke bike I had and it work great...I got the little baffler pipe at TRACTOR SUPPLY...I'm sure Lowes would have them too.
  8. And do you talk to you dad this way.....seeing that you sound young anuff to be my son.......you don't know me......I've had 5 pepboy bikes all good....2 - 2 strokes and still own a 90cc atv, 49cc dirt bike and the KC 70CC pitbike for $ 599.....a great bike for the money.....anybody that has doubts about my bikes......can come over to Dayton Ohio and watch this old man ride and see if ya can keep up on my cheap knock off.....I promise we will leave the driveway.....wish I was a dealer.......I could sell tons these KC bikes ! I bet I'm the oldest guy on this site......remember to respect you elders....boys.....lol !
  9. I've got that same bike......we had ours for 2 yrs.,.....still runs great....I had to replace a trottle cable and rear tire inner tube......that was a pain....keep the oil clean.....gets dirty fast with the cheap air filter...good bike....the engine looks hondaish....so you should be able to find some rings.......again good bike....but not nearly as nice as our new KC powersports pitbike extreme.......good luck !
  10. I highly doubt the above post....seeing that I own the KC 70cc version and I am 46 yrs, old and weight 200 lbs.,...and it goes over 40 mph's with me on.......they are well built bikes and worth the $$ saved......we've had ours for 6-months and its pass the test well.....I'm sure the 110 is even better with the larger front shocks......take it from somebody that owns one...KC'S are very good bikes for the cash !!!!
  11. If ya do a search on KC.......you'll see good positive postings from owner's like me......I've had 5 Pepboys bikes...2-stroke chopper,2-stroke pocket bike......and still own a 49cc dirt bike,90c ATV, and I do have the KC POWERSPORTS 70cc.....ALL GREAT BIKES....we like the ATV and the KC bike the best......I've had these bikes for a year now and they have been perfect....the KC pitbike is really sweet.....it hauls me around over 40 mphs and I weight 200 lbs.,.......again good bikes......there are a few guys that have the 110cc and like it very much as well....you can crawl around and look at them and see they are well built....for the $$$ they are a good deal.......again voice of experience here....5 bikes I've own.....no problems with any of them !!!! Over on the ATV connection board they are raving about the 90cc and the new 250cc....I've save a lot of $$ with my bikes and I can run with the best of them !!!!!
  12. For some reason I can't get the search to work here....but if you go to page 19 thread # 1126..(title KC POWERSPORTS)..in the non-full version you will see other posters such as MLUTHER80 who has the 110cc.....or just PM him for info.
  13. Yeah I just like going into the store and loading my bike up and taking it home that day.....don't mind doing some mail order but again not on big, expensive, heavy items....yup PB has some good bikes and you can save some $$ that way as well....I just pick up one of those O'neal Titan carbon and kevlar flat black moto helmets....on sale for $ 129.....reg $ 209 .....super light head gear...only weights about 1 lb.,.....pretty good deal. Let us know how you like your new bike......we sure like ours........have fun !!! *P.S. Final-Thought;....I do prefer the hands on inspection.....(you know crawling under the bikes...looking for quality parts) you get in a store.....I look over these bikes like they are used or something....ha !
  14. We have the KC 70cc...got it for x-mas.......great little bike......I weight 195 lbs. and my boy weight's 85lbs. he's 11 yrs. old..... and it moves me around very well.....I clock myself going 40 m.p.h. with a G.P.S. unit and still has some throttle left before I ran out of road .....I've owned 5 PepBoy bikes and have like them all...we still have a 49cc dirt bike.......90cc ATV.....but the KC Pit bike is the best in terms of bang for the buck........I like to support my local stores and I never order expensive stuff sight un-seen.....but thats just me......there are a few guys on this board that have the KC 110cc and seem to like it very much as they mention in some older KC threads........again we are very please with our bike......they seem to be very sturdy and very tuff little bikes !!!!
  15. We just pick up an O'NEAL TITAN on sale for only $ 129......reg $ 209 at PepBoys auto.......its carbon fiber with Kevlar as well.......very light....just over a pound in weight....plus it looks very cool with a fin in the back.
