  1. So I've tried to post a pic but have been unsuccessful. I see you are running a Zeta clamp were your bolts recessed allen heads and you just swapped the bolts? Also I see you have no blinker did you have to remove it to mount the ignition? I am running a Scotts triple my bolts are recessed allen heads so I'm guessing I could swap them out to a bolt with a head that will hold the ignition. At the shop they mounted my ignition on the left side of the speed o standing upward and it is bolted to the clamp so it's not cosmetically pleasing. Bob.
  2. Sorry forgot the pic.
  3. I just got my bike back after being hit by a backing up car and being worked on per insurance at my local shop I went from a stock upper triple and bars to a Scotts triple and Pro Taper bars and in doing so they had to relocate my ignition. In the pic I have attached you can see it's in what I think is a crappy spot so, what I want to know is, has anybody relocated their ignition besides where mine now resides and if so where? Thank You, Bob.
  4. Debi, My bike is in the shop right now after being hit so while it is there I am upgrading triples, bars, and wanted to do levers but, they are telling me I can't do ASV, Sunline etc. because of the I guess what ever activates the rear brake light also because of the rest of the switches turn signals etc. What did you do about all the above when upgrading? Thank You, Bob.
  5. Can anybody tell me who actually makes an upper triple clamp that will fit a 400S besides BRP also has anybody changed out clutch and front brake levers to ASV, Sunline etc. and if so what did you do about switches rear brake light etc. Thank You, Bob.
  6. Those are some great lookin bikes. Where did you get the Easton bars? Bob.
  7. Thanks for the info. I just looked at Applied they have a top clamp that looks pretty nice anybody using it with any feedback? Thank You, Bob Bowers.
  8. Who makes an after market triple clamp for an 05 DRZ 400 that will fit a fat bar. I looked around a little bit, but can't seem to find any. ____________ Thank You, Bob.
  9. No takers?
  10. If I were to switch to a Pro Taper high bend (Pastrana signature) do I need to change out cables, throttle, clutch, brake? Also does anybody know were to get graphics kits that fit the 400? Bob.
  11. I did a search and couldn't find a thread, so I figured I would ask. Can somebody tell me how exactly to do an oil change on an '05 DR-Z400S and approx. how much oil it takes and where the oil filter is located. Thank You, Bob.
  12. For Immediate Release Pahrump, NV (April 10, 2007) Moore Ace Racing pro quad team heads to this weekends Stateline Supermoto Challenge in Primm, NV to defend their 2006 title. With three freshly prepped quads and riders, they look to have a repeat stellar weekend in both the pro, and amateur classes with Shawn Moore, and Nic Granlund competing in the pro class as well as the addition of 15yr. old Cody Mitchell competing in the amateur class. Shaun Moore rider of the #66 Moore Ace Racing pro quad explains his strategy for this weekends event. I have trained extensively the last six months both mentally and physically on pavement and dirt for the Stateline Supermoto Challenge and feel I am in great shape, and ready for this weekends race. CT Racing has just finished building me a custom Yamaha YFZ450 that I will be debuting at Stateline, and I expect the overall performance of this new bike, and myself to put us at the top of the pro contender list for the overall victory. There will be a lot of heavy hitters at this years race with the likes of my teammate Nic Granlund, Darryl Rath, and others, so I definitely have my work cut out for me, but I am confident with a great start in the main, and smart riding I will come out victorious. Racing the Stateline Supermoto is a favorite for Moore Ace Racing after team member Nic Granlunds 1st place finish in the pro class last year as well as being on our home turf. Nic Granlund rider of the #1 Moore Ace Racing pro quad and defending Stateline Supermoto pro quad champion is also mentally, and physically ready for this weekends event after also putting in extensive hours of prep, and practice time on both pavement, and dirt. I feel really good about defending my title this weekend. The setup on the bike is right on, and coming off a fresh victory at the Best in the Desert Parker 250 I expect to be on the top of the podium again this year. This year Moore Ace Racing has added a new rider 15 year old Cody Mitchell. Cody currently runs in the Best in the Desert off road series as well as various supermoto events and looks to be the new young gun of the sport. We expect big things out of Cody explains Carl Moore owner and team manager of Moore Ace Racing he is young, hungry and very dedicated. We look forward to building a long working relationship with Cody and seeing him through the amateur to the pro ranks to the top of the podium. Look for Cody this weekend on his #83 Moore Ace Racing G-tag sponsored Yamaha YFZ450 as well as the Moore Ace Racing G-Tag sponsored rhino. 13. I just put mine on 2 days ago. I still have stock motor, it has been jetted, and an air filter also regeared to a 39 in rear, and it made a huge difference. I'm very happy with the purchase. ---------------- Thank You, Bob Bowers.
