    MX vs ATV UNTAMED

to all you out there getting on the ps3, your a bunch of idiots, i have it and this game kills on it, i doubt very seriously the 360 version is better, i think the 360 guys are trying to make themself feel better about an getting an inferior machine (ps3 does it all man). i will say this though , last week i only had a ps2 and bought the game for it, it sucked on it ,felt real floaty. anyway anyone out there considering which one to buy, i would defininately go with the ps3, just better. oh and to all the hater's , its alright , ya'll come around, when they quit making games for it , much like xbox.

    MX vs ATV UNTAMED

I just got the new untamed for ps2 and the bikes seem realy floaty ( not like the first two games), i was wondering if the ps3 version is any better , does it feel like the older bikes?

    Checking Valve Clearance & Timing

YES I HAD TO RESHIM MY 05 AND IT WAS NOT A BIG DEAL AT ALL, JUST MAKE SURE WHEN YOU TAKE THE CHAIN OFF THE TWO CAMSHAFT'S TOMARK SOME PLACES ON YOUR CHAIN AND CAM, TO KEEP IT IN TIME , NO BIG DEAL AT ALL, AND IF THEY WANT A $196 TO DO THAT THEN I AM IN THE WRONG BIDNESS.

    '05 shock leak?

Hey , i was riding saturday and it was really dusty and after about an hour of ridin , i noticed it looked like the rear shock might be leakin, there was dust stuck in certain areas around it like it was clingin to oil. around the bottom of the little bumper deal looked a little oily, but it rode fine. i was just wondering had anybody else had this problem or what would i do to fix it, and also how urgent is it. Thanks in advance for any help, J:excuseme:

    Would you buy a used 05 RMZ450?

I bought a used 05 and i think it's the best bike ever, i was worried about missing my 03 rm250 till i took it out and really got to ride it, now they can have my share of two strokes. i've got my dream bike now, i paid $3800 , but it was a little dirty and scratched a little ,$200 and some new graphics and fender later i'm ready.

try you a v-force valve ($129 at motosport.com), really picks up bottom and mid, i put one on my 03 rm250, trust me this thing is for real.

    Valves Check & Adjustment

I just bought one and checked them, it was really easy. just take the tank off , then the valve cover off (the one on top with two hex head bolts in it). on the left side of your engine case there is a big bolt and a little one, you need to remove these, take a socket that fits on the inside of the big hole(this is how you move it around) and turn it till you see two lines , you'll want to find the second line, line it up with the one on the side of the case then look up and make sure you're on top dead center both cam lobes facing directly away from each other( if you can't find t.d.c i beleive there is an article on transworldmx.com in the how to section that talks about cam chains this is how i learned) then take a feeler guage(got mine at advance, but make sure you get one that doesn't skip the important sizes like.009,.011) bend the tips a little and stick them in where the cam meets the cover(the round silver thing) you want it to be a little snug, but you need to be able to get it in and out also. and that's that( my exhaust side was off , supposed to be .006-.009, mine was .012, i took the shim out and it was a 238 iw ent and bought a 250, and this put it back to .007) but iv'e read that most people's aren't off. and when you put it back make sure to put some black gasket sealer on the the corners where the half moon things are. hope this help's , i'm probably the furthest thing from a mechanic. but this was very easy.

    Off Time

I was reshimming my 05 rmz450 today and I put the marks I have made back on and then I turned it and the lines did not match back up I didn't think about the fact that they shouldn't have lined backed up. Anyway, its off time. A buddy of mine came over and we found the original marks and lined them up but it didn't meet top dead center on the bottom marks. I'm guessing it would have had to come off a tooth or so on the bottom. Is there anyway to reposition it on the bottom? I didn't know whether to take the side case off or not. Has anyone tried this? Thank you.
