  1. So I guess the answer is shift sooner and leave the carb alone. I guess I have just spent too much time on a 2 stroke. I liked the "power band" I was feeling when I rode through the flat spot before the grey wire mod. I was hoping that was hiding behind fuel starvation.
  2. I bought an '06 WR250 and the dealer did the throttle stop and uncorked the pipe but it had a huge flat spot at mid RPM. You could ride through it and it would eventually come alive. I did the air box and grey wire mods and the flat spot is gone. I have better power all around but it feels like I am hitting the rev limiter early (2/3rds throttle in all gears). Is that possible or is it likely a jetting problem?
