  1. This is great information. With my symptoms being, the starter won't cold start, but will when it's HOT, which should I try first. BTW, it kicks with 1 or 2 kicks - no problem. Battery has already been replaced. it just acts like a weak starter?
  2. i bought the UFO plastics for my 450X (in White), and they look and fit great. After almost a year now...still look great.
  3. I am having the same problem. My valves are fine. It kicks starts just fine, and once hot it will start immediately with the e-start button. I described my problem to a mechanic friend and he told me it was the accelerator pump. Basically the diaphragm or gasket in there that primes the carb for the e-start. He explained that once it’s running, the gas is in the carb and that's why it starts no problem with the button then. I have ordered the part and once I make the fix, I will report back. If anyone has other opinions or suggestions, I am definitely all ears. Thanks in advance,
  4. ditto... ran the lead out to easy access thru the air box door.
  5. now that is COOL.
  6. how is this done ?
  7. Try this. http://www.ufoplasticusa.com
  8. I agree - its 3 things. 1. Confidence factor - having the ability and seat time to know your limits. 2. risk/reward factor - the risk is there, but the reward of the adrenaline rush as you fly thru the air is indescribable. THAT is addicting. 3. being able to jump the doubles definitely increases enjoyment of the entire track. I have enjoyed this post. BTW, I am a mere 35. I rode trails as a kid and some in Jr and high school, then I started back riding when I was 32 with my kids, and finally started jumping the doubles at 34 and I simply love it.
  9. Wolf Pen is one of the best places to ride in the area. Mena is a great little town. Lots of places to stay too. If camping and "A" frame cabins, or RVs is your thing, be sure and check out Wolfpen ATV Camp ground. ( www.wolfpenatv.com ) great place to stay and you can ride directly from the camp area, without trailering to the trail head.
  10. I know this goes in the "midwest" forum, but this place is just across the border (red river), and I would hate for someone to miss out on it. _____________________________________ Cross Bar Ranch, or X Bar Ranch: http://www.crossbarranch.com/ Just returned from riding there Saturday, May 25th. Simply Awesome. The 21 mile loop is as good as riding gets. Had some of everything - tight single track, tough hill climbs, creek crossing (deep creek crossings), and great off camber hills. Folks, let me just say this place is a diamond in the rough. Go and you will not be disappointed it. While we were there, it rained, alot. It was wet and slick in places, and I can only imagine how much better it would be if it was dry. We will definitely be back. My hats off to Brad and the City of Davis on this well run riding spot. Town was very hospitable, be sure and enjoy Las Cascades’ Mexican Food, the huge "cat head" biscuits at the 77 Grill, and the friendly folks at the Mountain View Inn. Thanks again Brad for everything.

  13. Supercross

Thanks everyone for the replies. Still hunting the video though.
  14. Supercross

Last year - in Phx Supercross I believe, McGrath Holeshoted the main (or was it a heat race?), and did a nac-nac . I remember seeing it - does anyone have a link to some video, and can you confirm or deny - was it Phx 2006, and was it in the main event or just a heat ???? I am trying to settle a discussion (debate). Thanks in advance.
  15. I've had nothing but good service from Ken at CRFs only. I sincerely hope it works out for both involved. BTW, Ken - thanks for the corrected tugger in Texas, the original is on its way back to you.
