  7. i was told to come over to this section of the forum and see if u guys can help me out i have a 83 dr100 abd i had a crack in my cam chain tunnel on my jug so i just bought a 125 jug off of ebay. should i use a 84 125 piston or a 02-06 drz15 piston? i can get a new 1984 125 piston and rings for $55, vs a 02 drz125 piston kit for 90 on ebay. is there any performace increase? higher compression between the two?
  8. ok thanks

  11. im not the smartest crayon in the pack but why would u use such a thin oil such as smoker oil? i was running 80w gear oil in the cr 125 but i just switched to atf F and i love it. the clutch isn't grabbing and wanting to take off when its cold. yes i understand 8w is a thick oil. but riding in 90* weather in the back woods and mud id rather have a thicker oil (i know that atf isn't thick but it doesn't break down as much from what i hear)
  12. yes sorry about the confusion i saw the leak and the oil on the fender at night so i didn't have a chance to take a close look.
  13. ok i cleaned it up and looked closer and it was 4 holes in between the fins going downward towards the crank. where the timing chain is. i ordered a new chain and put jb weld on the holes and it seems to be holding just fine. i will get a 125 jug and piston when i find a good deal but until then i will ride it as a 100. what about a 125 cam?
  14. ok the bike wont idle correctly. and is currently running lean. with a bad bog off the line almost stalling
