  3. I tell you what I have been running belray 80wt in my 2002 yz 125. I cant say anything bad its been working great. And H1R Premixed at 40:1.
  4. Yeah the kick starter assy is right next to the clutch basket but if its ran enough it could find is way to the gear box, there is many openings that it can get through. Best thing is fix it now before it does If there is any debries from it breaking.
  5. OK guys sorry I didnt respond right away. you all are not going to beleive this. I never seen this happen before. Ok The 125 I am working on used to be mine. I got 250f so I gave it to my brother, But I did do alot of mods to it and on upgrade was a magnetic drain plug. It seems to be alittle longer so there is a bigger washer to make up the differance, Well For some reason when he changed the oil he did not put the washer on. And so theres the problem. I knew something was wronge when I took the drain plug out and the top of it seemed to be hitting something. Well On the shift drum there is a notched out part at the front. When the drum turned and got to the third gear it was hitting the top of the drain plug not leting it go into gear. I tore it down and noticed that tall the forks are fine and gears are good then looked at what was hitting the plug and sure enough it was the drum when it turned . Thanks for all the help guys and If any thing like that again happens I know what to look for. So WARNING!!! Them Washers are there for a Reason. lol
  6. ok thanks get drunk. Well I was hopeing it was a keyway or something small like that but hell it happens. Well thanks and I guess Im off to the case splitting . LOL Thanks..
  7. Ok My brother has a 2002 yamaha 125. He brought it over to ride today and when he did he said it wouldnt shift. He has first nutrual and second. But it wont let him shift into third and above. Its not grinding or anything. just wont go into gear. Its acting like if it was in 5th, Could it be a bent shifting fork?? We would really like to get some advise before spliting the case. Ok thanks and hope someone can help.

  9. Thanks guys. I will look over everything you guys told me and I will get back to let you know the results. Its nice to have this kinda site to help out with these kinda jobs, lol instead of ripping your hair out when you dont have them money have it done buy a dealer. LoL I better get a move one. I have a race coming up in couple weeks. Season opener. thanks again.
  10. Thanks I will check that. Yeah I took note of them settings thanks. Would that oil I am using be ok or should I try a lighter weight if the shocks are ok and not on a bind? I put 10wt in . Yeah I was thinkin that there was air still in the shocks. Is there a process when you add the oil to get all the air out or just keep bleedin them with forks extended when bikes on the stand
  11. Hello. I have a 2003 yamaha 250f. I raced it all last year in the B class. I had a guy help me with my suspension work but i moved away from that town and cant get ahold of him . lol just my luck. Anyways I changed the oil and replaced the seals because they we getting really bad. But when put it all back together my forks are really stiff. I backed the compresion and reboud out all the way to soft when I put it back together so I didnt hurt the rod when I replaced the caps. All settings still on soft but they are still stiff. Could it be air that needs to be worked out?? The shocks dont seem to retrack like the did before I tore them down. I am a 135 pound rider, I used maxis type E 10 weight. I put about 9 ounces in each fork. I was going by that from what looks like I got out of them . so i was trying to keep that oil level so I got the same set up as they where when I road it last year but that didnt seem to work. I know it cant be the spring because the felt great all last year with them springs. Can someone talk me through the oil change process? Maybe I did something wrong. Thanks.
