  1. '02 motor. My '04 will flat out smoke the YZ everybody raves about.
  2. McDirt. Mine is set up the same way except for the Boyesen exhaust flange. Although I did contemplate it I didn't pull the trigger. Wish I would have now as I can't find one. The bike is still an absolute animal. Very underated.
  3. The Boyesen Rad Valve woke the bottom end up a bit in mine. I don't spend a whole lot of time in the lower portion of the power band, but it did wake it up a bit. I'd rather have it in the mid to upper end. Which is where these motors are strongest at stock anyways.
  4. Did anyone see Mike Larroco win the Chamions race both nights in a row on the CR 250? He beat Damon Huffman and Jeff Emig who were both on 450f's. Emig was riding Stewarts practice bike I believe.
  5. Oh...and "on" the back of a truck.... http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d110/Dieselhed/Honda%20CR250R/?action=view&current=bikecarrier1.jpg
  6. Hope this helps the "no pic of the new bike blues". Here's mine when it was new.......... http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d110/Dieselhed/Honda%20CR250R/bike1.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d110/Dieselhed/Honda%20CR250R/bike3.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d110/Dieselhed/Honda%20CR250R/bike4.jpg
  7. No. They are not interchangable.
  8. Welcome to the wonderful world of jetting. It's key to get these newer CR's to run. But when your jetting is spot on, they haul!
  9. '07 are $5,520 around here. http://www.procycleusa.com/index.cfm?page=newvehicles&catid=2&manid=1
  10. I would put my '04 CR up against any, and I mean ANY, 2 stroke 250. Now if you don't want to set the bike up properly for your riding syle, and leave it stock, I would say get the YZ. If you can find one. They are scarce around here.
  11. http://www.procycleusa.com/index.cfm?page=newvehicles Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki. All brand new.
  12. Looks good dude. I like it....
  13. I have the '04 and its set up for the woods I went up 1 tooth on the rear sprocket, added the JD jetting kit, the Boyesen rad valve, a Pro Ciruit Platinum 2 and R304 shorty, 24mm triple clamps, raised the compression a hare and it absolutely stomps ass in the woods. This is the best handling bike I have ever riden, anyone that rides it agrees.
  14. I believe KTM is making an electric start 2 stroke for '08. I think it's the 300 EXC. Cool...
  15. I'm tearing up already.
