  1. Lucho, I agree $8 bucks a year is a gift. I also think that the city's decision to allow off-road vehicles to utilize their businesses is one of the smartest things I have seen a municipality do in a long time. I can't wait till that happens. Personally, I have never been to cal city to ride but will do so real soon. Do you have any information on where to go for moderate rides? Also, is there an area that allows target shooting? Once again, keep up the good work in getting the word out.
  2. thanks guys. How do you get to Clark mtn?
  3. You guys have been extremely helpful in the past. I am looking for a moderate trail near primm nevada. Preferably one that has scenic views. Any suggestions/maps? Thanks
  4. Unfortunately, I live in a good area of Los Angeles where the cops will only respond to a murder or doughnuts. With respect to getting in his face more, I was so pissed off that I didn't trust myself. PS. If you're an idiot, you shouldn't be posting your pictures on the web. Look at this guy.... http://www1.fallsbrazil.com.br/en/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=966
  5. Is there a website to report drivers who don't care if they hit someone on a bike? I was just riding my bike and this idiot not only nearly hit me a stop light and then nearly ran me off the road. I followed him to his house and he said he didn't care, took his dry cleaning out of his car and peacefully went into his house. I had to make a decision whether or not to kick his ass and probably end of in jail or ask for fellow thumpers for advice. I have his address and phone number, any suggestions????
  6. Post your e-mail address and I'll send you an excel file that has the various torques.
  7. Yes, install the stabilizer at 180 degrees. Remove the bracket on the stabilizer and flip it. I can't remember the torque on the bracket but call them. Good luck. try this link for the picture http://scottsonline.com/photos2/606.jpg I had the same question with respect to the handle bar heights. Since I live close to Scott's office in La Canada, I stopped by and they were very helpful showing me the various heights. However, I haven't riden the bike so I can't tell you how they feel yet.
  8. I just got one myself. Call Scott's and ask for Steve. He's very helpful. What I ended up doing was installing the stabilizer in reverse, here's a link to a photo http://www.scottsperformance.com/stabilizerproducts.php?PartType=38&Bike=Suzuki&PHPSESSID=8bda947b807dc1b69abad1a903f42865

  12. Thanks. I'm riding a DRZ400S, relatively new to the sport, so goat trails are out for now. Will I be needing a map? Also, thanks for the info on the Southwest forum.
