  1. Hi everyone, If I want to ensure that there is no air coming in anywhere around intake monifold what is the best way to mount carb back to engine head on DR 650? Am I suppose to put some additional sealant on O ring inside of manifold or is manifold bolted on engine head dry ? Thanks for any answer..

    1996 engine into 1990 frame???

    Hi guys, can someone of you tell me if engine from 1996 DR 650 (with E-starter ) will fit into kickstarter frame from 1990? Or will I have to do some alterations? Another question about 1990 DR 650: bike is going great ones I keep revs higher than 2000 rpm but if I try bring engine to idle, engine cuts down to about 500 rpm and often backfires through the carb. Am I right with idea that bike is lean on pilot circuit and probably is taking air somewhere around intake manifold? Or should I go for bigger pilot jet?? Or is there something else what can cause this trouble?? Thanks a lot, regards to everyone here.. Ales
