  3. Try this: http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/802827-carburetor-question-on-my-yz426/
  4. FYI the carb already has a merge spring so you can save a few bucks there. See if AS cant sneak you a couple pics of the piston..it would cool to see what 200 hours of run time looks Iike. Else, I'm out your build thread!
  5. Knowing what I know now, it was 1) the wrong color 2) not enought light for anything over 35ish The aiming issue might have helped number 2 but by that time I had moved on to the dual 4in setup etc

  8. Yes it will fit. Cant speak for why they haven't gotten back to you but I can speak for purchasing from them and having my item delivered!
  9. same expect the yz wont have the ais ports drilled. which for anyone who does the ais removal would be a good thing!
  10. LOL nice! FWIW if this was an issue, you'd see a lot of threads about it. I dont see hardly any...
  11. Back in early 07 my dad and I each bought left over 06's. We spent the next year an half on the bikes. Its all we did. Both put over 14K miles of Baja and So Cal dual sport rides etc. Never EVER a failure in the oil department or any other part of the bike etc
  12. This is the first I've read on grinding the pin so I do worry. And MPGs 100+ mile between gas stops makes me care.
  13. Where did you come up with the idea to grind the pin? Also how did you figure 1mm would be enough or not enough? Do you have any more info on this? How did this effect mpg?
  14. maybe this thread will help http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/26509689.cfm
