  1. Has anyone ever heard of DMP exhaust? I bought this bike off ebay before end of auction, 2004 CRF450 for $2500(made an offer to buy next day) i've never heard of this exhaust, regardless the exhaust on the bike isnt stock.....The silencer looks exhaust but the header pipe isnt for sure.... Heres a link to the bike check it out and let me know if youve heard of this exhaust? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180099480551&ru=http://motors.search.ebay.com:80/180099480551_CRF_W0QQa10238ZQ2d24QQa38v1yZQQa38v2yZQQa39ZQ2d24QQa6ZQ2d24QQalistZa39Q2ca41Q2ca38v1yQ2ca38v2yQ2ca10238Q2ca3801Q2ca85Q2ca10246Q2ca6QQcatrefZC6QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfcclZ1QQfclZ3QQfgtpZQQfposZ64157QQfposZ64157QQfposZ64157QQfromZR2QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQgcsZ14QQlopgZQQlsotZQQpf_queryZ180099480551Q20QQpfidZ2469QQpfmodeZ1QQreqtypeZ2QQsacatZ147903QQsadisZ200QQsaprchiZQQsaprcloZQQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ2QQsbrftogZ1QQsofocusZbsQQfviZ1
  2. The hot start is a little jacked up, if you pull on the hot start it just stays open and doesnt click back in on its own..... Maybe i should look at adjusting that ?
  3. Hey guys, This is my first Honda..... Just bought an 04 CRF450 last night, $2500....... Had a few questions about this bike, The only problems im having is the choke wont stay out when i pull on it, I pull it out and if you let it go it snaps back in, so im guessing its broken, How do i fix this or what part do i need to order? Local dealership was no help since all they wanted to do was have me drop the bike off and then let them "figure it out and fix it" Other than that, This bike ROCKS! i love the power way better than the 05 YZF450 i had. this bike feels great.
  4. oh man that was awesome..... I can't believe that chad pushed him as he rode off though, Then they got into it again, I've never seen stewart bob his head so much back and forth, He must have been saying some major words
  5. Looks like its going to be on again around either 10:00 or 10:30(Central time) the INHD1 channel usually replays the same show within 2 hours
  6. Thanks for the replys guys i appreciate it......I think the next bike will be the CRF, I'll look for an 05, if i cant find one around the price i want to spend i'll for sure get an 04. I just feel its time to try something different, and because i dont care much for the KXF or RMZ, the only option left is the Honda, and its always been my second choice in a bike, Maybe once i get one, it will end up being my first choice in bikes.
  7. I'm about 6'2'' in height. What are the major changes in the motor? And what change in the frame? Is 03/04 still a good year for this bike? As far as reliability factor goes, I'm well aware that since it is a dirt bike i will have to do work on it(just like my YZ426/YZ450 was) but my yamaha's have been very reliable bikes as far as never really needing valve adjustments, and for that matter much work on it. Is the honda going to be the same way in reliablity as my yami was? Thanks for the input so far Shawn and MED
  8. Listed my bike on thumpertalk and got the exact same email, Both times i listed it.... scam out the
  9. Hey guy's, Just sold my 05 YZ450F a few months back.... I'm going to be getting another bike this summer but wanted to try something different, So i figured i would go with the CRF450. I was wondering how well the bike runs. Anything bad compared between the 3 years im considering? If i can find an 05 for my price range i will go with that, Otherwise im sure i'll be picking up an 03/04....I've had great luck with my Yamaha's but its all i've ever rode, I think it's about time i try something new. Much help appreciated felluh's
  10. It's not hard at all, Just remove the seat....Unhook the gas tank, You can just move it to the side actually without undoing the tube that goes into the carb......Then yank that sucker out, Little more work than a 2stroke, But figure you'll spend an extra 3minutes, Whats that to sneeze about??
  11. That sounds like what it could be, Im still climbing in speed and the RMPS when im going towards the jump, i'll just practice more! ive got an 05 too its an awesome bike
  12. Yea ive heard about doing that but at my level i think it would be pretty difficult, I'll give it a shot next time though thanks! Any other tips guys? I've gone down a few times since ive gotten my bike but im wanting to learn the correct way so i can be as safe as humanly possible when riding.
  13. Hey guys, i have a YZF450 and today was the first time i really started jumping it, the track i went to had mainly uphill jumps.... i went slow a few times on all of them and was perfectly level when i jumped, But the faster i went i found that my front was to high in the air, what can i do to keep level when going quicker?? My buddy says its smooth power and body position, he said stay at a consistant speed and stay centered in the bike, im pretty sure im doing this but maybe im not? Give me some pointers on jumping properly guys. Appreciated
  14. Hey guys, I need help setting up my bike a little bit better.... First off im 6'2'' which isnt to tall, but ive got size 14 feet so shifting and finding footing on the pegs are pretty difficult, What wide pegs would you all recomend? as far as brand and like being titanium or whatever, Anything you can think of let me know, I need to do something so i feel a bit more comfortable on my bike.
