    removing swingarm

Some time back I read a howto article about swingarm maintenance. They used all-thread to pull the swingarm bolt out instead of hammering on it. I cant find it now and would like to read it again. Can any one point me to it? TIA txbikerinpa I have searched this site and cant find it.

  3. My ignition switch is mounted on the left side of the triple tree. This makes it very easy to turn the switch the wrong way when stopping which leaves the tail light on. What is the best way to defeat this feature so I wont run the battery flat again? TIA Chuck

    handlebar plug

I would like to put lever protection on my DRZ400s. The handlebar is aftermarket which looks like the ends are plugged with a white polypropylene looking plug. The crossbrace protection has "Dominator" on it. The question is, can I drill out the plug to install the barend needed for the lever protection? All info appreciated. TIA Chuck

    Ortlieb saddlebag on DRZ400S

I have searched and not found the answer. I have the Ortlieb bags I use on my KLR and would like to use on the DRZ but have not come up with a CHEAP way of keeping off the exhaust. All ideas welcomed. TIA Chuck

    starting after tipover

the charcoal cannister has been removed. I guess I will hold it wide open & hit starter and hope it starts before the battery dies. Thanks for all the input.
  11. Is there a secret to starting a DRZ400S after a tipover. Mine eventually started but the smell of gas was very strong. What can I do to clear the flooding before I run the battery down trying to start it? TIA Chuck
