  1. I recently had my front brake caliper break off into my front wheel. The bracket or subassembly that holds caliper to the forks is the part that failed and that I now need to replace. Looking at the Yamaha caliper replacements I cannot just order the caliper bracket I need but I would have to replace the whole caliper. I noticed that Honda also uses Nissin brake calipers and that they sell caliper body parts separately unlike Yamaha. Would anyone happen to know which or if Honda uses any of the exact same calipers on their bikes? Or maybe I could just order a complete Nissin caliper from Honda to use on the bike in case there is a next time. Mainly just looking for the most cost effective solution to get things working as before without buying a completely new caliper. Thanks. 05 Yamaha WR250F
