  11. Hi All After all this talk about the idler, I thought i'd have a looksee. I did it just the same as planet klx and it really is straight forward:thumbsup: , What did I find -well idler is still in one piece:applause: , no broken teeth but it is flopping around like a ducks arse. Looks like a re sleeve is in order:censored: , so my question is Should I make the sleeve a tad longer to make it a more firm fit/tension to the circlip (to stop sideways movement) or just increase the sleeve to make it tighter on the shaft: cheers hatto
  12. You came to this forum to get some help from others who have knowledge on how to fix your problems. This forum and the members who help, are offering assistance and ideas for no return/payment, respect is something you owe them for that help. If you can't pay them that respect than why be part of this forum:naughty: cheers hatto
  13. Hey GavThings are a little different her in oz, our bikes aren't quite as restricted as in the US. After saying that almost everything that they are doing can be done to oz models and will give the same results. These guys are very helpfull and have a wealth of great info to help you through. Also have a look at this thread, It is from an oz site and has contacts and mods for oz bikes http://www.dirtbikeworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19279 cheers hatto
  14. I have bill blues 34 mikuni and have a few questions klx300 with all the mods done, when carb went in I had a small bog off snap and a surge of about 2-300rpm at 8k Is this to rich - not rich enough - to much air So played with carb last night for something to do, I put the airbox lid on as bill suggested With the bike idling, the air screw is at 1 turn out- small surge and gets bigger as revs increase With the airbox lid off, air screw out 1.75 turns-same results Jetting is at 37.5 and 142.5 needle as bill supplied where to from here??? by the way, the amount of air coming out of the crank case breather mod is amazing ( well worth this mod) cheers hatto Sorry for double post
