  1. toyota_mdt_tech, The next time you get vacation time you should come to Nebraska. You could go see....ummmm...go spend time at....ummmm......well.... you could come and help me finish my trailer! HA! HA! HA!
  2. Thanks for the replies. Like I said... the reason I wanted to mount the window a/c (12000 btu) is because I have it. It will cost $0.00 for it. Also, if it quits working maybe another $300.00 to replace it. Roof a/c will cost me a whole lot more and if it quits working in the future it will cost a whole lot more again to replace it. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have a roof a/c but I am questioning if it is worth the money (FOR ME). I have already insulated the trailer and have the paint, lights, plugs, etc for it. I might just have to bite the bullet and get roof a/c. Just trying to keep my options open. Thanks again.
  3. I have a 7 x 12 v-nose trailer I would like to mount a window air conditioner on. Have any of you done this on a v-nose? I already have the a/c and thought I might as well put it to use and save some $$ over a roof mount. On a regular non v-nose I have seen them mounted on the tounge but I don't think I can to that. Thanks (pictures are good!!).
  4. Thanks for the help everyone. I think I will stay with the old fasioned way of charging the battery.....take it out...set it on the work bench and hook up the charger. I just thought it would be a cool mod if it wasn't too hard. Thanks again.
  5. I just ordered a H and H enclosed cargo trailer. I am interested in wiring it so I can use a deep cycle battery to power the interior lights. I have been told that it is possible to wire it in a way so that the pulling vehicle will trickle charge the trailer battery. My puller is a 1999 Dodge Ram and it and the trailer use the big round plug (without looking I am pretty sure it is the 5 prong). Can anyone give me good instructions on how to wire this. Also, where is everybody putting the battery/box...on the tongue or inside the trailer? Thanks for any help.
