  1. Hello, I was wondering what info you might have on different front shocks I can put on my 2003 400ex. I heard I could use the yzf450 front shocks if I grind something down. Im just looking for a less expensive way to improve my front suspension, other then to buy new Elka or Works shocks. On ebay I can pick up stock YZF450 shocks for around $200. I also heard that the YZF shocks were better than the TRX450R. Any info any of you might have would be much appreciated. Thank You.

Oh ok, we call that Charlie's Hills. That is my main riding area as of right now. We talked to the guy who owns that and said we can ride there. He came down to see us because sombody tore up one of his fences. He was pissed and going to ban everyone, but luckily cooled down. The entrance we use is on 7th street, down the dirt road dead end. I wouldnt enter or exit any where near correctionville RD. That property is owned by someone else who dosnt want us crossing their land. I was told riding close behind the school can earn you some heat, so I would stay down in "Charlie's Hills".

They no longer allow guest passes. You are allowed to come to Timber Ridge but wont be allowed to ride your own machine. The only way to ride there is to pay for the membership and show proof of insurance on your ride.

Hey guys whats up. Sorry havnt got a chance to check back until now. Ron nice to meet ya. Yeh the guy at Elk Point looked pretty pissed but just told us to leave, private property. Yeh I have a trip planned to Black Hills later this year. Ryan, a Timber Ridge membership is $600. That includes you and immediate family, (wife and kids). I havnt rode there since I was a kid, but am looking forward to it as soon as my hand heals up. Broke it a few weeks ago after I didnt make a hill and came down backwards into a tree. OUCH!! War nerve, Yeh ive rode by Holiday trailer park and South Sioux by the train bridge. Was kicked out of South Sioux by cops. That sucked since its awesome down there especially now when water is low. Yeh definately lets hook up to ride. Once it warms up a bit. Where abouts is that Correctionville Rd place. Only place I can think of is Roller Coaster hills out by dump.

    Riding Areas Around Sioux City

Hey any fellow Sioux City riders out there? Ive recently bought a 400ex with no place to ride. I grew up here and all the descent riding areas are becoming obsolete. Brickyards was an excellent area. I went out to Elk Point sand dunes last weekend for 1st time in a couple years. I was ran out of there no sooner than I showed up. I just got a membership to Timber Ridge. Am looking forward to riding there. I'm just looking for a local area so I don't have to travel so far just to ride for a couple hours. Does anyone know of any such areas?
