  1. but why is that?! i thought less air= more gas and since i am at 5045 feet i dont have much air but i need to go RICH over my stock 42 jet why is that?!

I cant figure out what jetting is right for my WR it is killing me!! right know i am operating at about 5045 feet at 45 degrees i cant figure out what is wrong. i had a stock 42 pilot jet in and it ran like crap at low rpm and high speed it even idles bad. so i put in a 45 thinking it was running lean i have adjusted the fuel screw out to a little over two turns and it is still no good i cant believe that at my elevation i should go all the way to a 48 pilot jet. i have a jd jetting kit i am using the blue needle on the 3rd position, and a 180 main jet. should i change the pilot air jet? when i bought the bike it had YZ timing and all the free mods i just cant figure out what is wrong. the slider plate is installed correctly HELP!!

  5. HELP!!!! i just bought a WR250f off a Guy that lived in phoenix, AZ and i cant seem to get it to run right. First off my mods- grey wire cut, yz timing, uncorked, 42 pilot jet, i dont know what my main jet is though. When i bought the bike the guy had a 50 pilot jet in it and i have no idea why because it is my understanding that the bigger the jet the richer and he lived at 2300 feet where the air was thiner. Anyway so i guess what i want to know is what i can do to make my bike overall run smooth again. Here are my symptoms- starts up in a couple kicks, runs a little rough cold but then when it warms up it gets a little better. Once warm i still am having some issues exspecially when i gas it real hard it bogs out and almost dies but then comes back if i hold it. Also when in like 3,4,5 running a constant rpm the bike sputters and stuff. Could this be a bad plug issue? even at idle after you have warmed it up it sputters and just doesnt idle to well. I was thinking it could be old gas to. Could that be a factor? Anyway i am just trying to figure out how to run this thing cherry again. becasue i know it can.
