  2. The 07 KX450F scavenger pump pin is different then the 06. The rotor is separate from the shaft on the 07 and the rotor is pressed on the shaft on the 06. Kawasaki has a memo out (K-Tech(NOLOGISE) on the 07's KX450F Scavenger Pum pin. It states "during the reassembly it is critical to line up the notch in the rotor with the pin in the shaft. It is possible, and very easy, to incorrectly place the rotor on the shaft, and when the pump cover is tightened it forces the rotor down on the shaft and shears the pin. The result is quickly evident upon start-up when oil is forced out of the crankcase breather tube. So any time you reassemble the scavenger pump on the 07 KX450F, be sure to place the rotor on the shaft while the assembly is removed from the engine case. Then hold the rotor in its correct position against the pin and insert the shaft into the engine."
  3. We had the same problem with our 04 Honda 450. We switched to Kawi in the fall of 06, had over 120 hours on the 06 250F and the valves never moved. Picked up the 07 450 Kawi in Jan 07, glad we made the switch. Sold the Kawi 06 250F and picked up my 08 250F last month, the week before Ponca.
  4. I had a post on the scavenger pump on 1-24-07, here's the link http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/sho...=451752&page=4
  5. Sorry i havnt given a report on how it runs yet i just got back from the ponca national i've got about three rides on it so far and it's running very strong i never rode an 07 but the 08 is WAY better than my 06 was. i thought my 06 had a lot on bottom compared to other 250fs but this one has even more. It pulls a bit longer on top too. We had some left over backgrounds and number plates from my last bike so we just pulled off the decals from the stock plates and put them on top of the numbers, it turned out pretty good.
  6. i sold my 06 250f three months ago when i had knee surgery for $4600 if u can buy an 07 for $4000-4500 then i got lucky on my 06 My 08 wasn't much more than i got out of my 06
  7. Check out my Garage. I picked up my new 08 250F today.
  8. Check out my Garage. I picked up my new 08 250F today to go along with my 07 450F.
  9. I posted a reply regarding the 07 pump, here's the link. http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=451752&page=4

  11. I've had my 06 Kawi 250F since the first part of Oct 2006. No problems after 120 hours of riding and racing. We rebuilt the motor after 100 plus hours, the valves were still in spec (never moved from day one).
  12. Check out my garage. Finally I picked up my new 2007 Kawi four fiddy to go along with my 06 Kawi two fiddy. I had to wait two weeks longer because the first Kawi four fiddy the dealer had started knocking at the dealer right after the first start (dealer found that one of the C clips on the piston was missing on that bike). Now we just need to sell the 04 Honda four fiddy.
  13. I have a 2006 Fox V3 and a 2007 One Industries Trooper helmet, both are size small. The V3 is more snug in the cheek pads, but other then that they both fit pretty much the same. They V-3 is lighter but, the Trooper has more room in the chin area.
  14. Same thing happened to mine. Call Gearne and they will send you replacement parts for you SG10's, they sent mine to me for free.
  15. Have an 06 kx250f now for practice bike. Getting an 07 kawi for this season
