  2. REALLY THINK THAT THE DR HAS TWO SPARK PLUGS BECAUSE IF THEY PUT ONLY ONE ALL THE COMPRESSION WILL BE LOST TROGUHT THE OTHER HOLE,

  6. ISN'T EASIER TO HIT THE REVLIMTTER ON 4TH GEAR THAN 5TH GEAR? A COUPLE OF DAYS BACK I ASKED ABOUT THE SYMPTOMS OF HITTING THE REV LIMITTER.THE ANSWERS THAT I GOT ARE EXACTLY WHAT MY BIKE IS DOING. BUT WHEN THAT HAPPENS IN 5TH GEAR, I GEAR DOWN TO 4TH AND THE SYMPTOMS DESAPEAR. LOGIC TELLS ME THAT THE ENGINE WOULD BE WORKING AT HIGHER REVOLUTIOS ON 4TH THAN 5TH, AND I':banghead: M HITTING THE REVLIMT ON 5TH AND NOT ON 4TH, ANY HELP WITH THIS ANY OPINION IS WELCOME, THANKS GUYS I HOPPING TO LEARN SOMENTHIG FROM THIS.
  7. I 'm glad my mid life crisis took me into motorcycles. (dual sport ) and very glad did not take me into Harleys, and corvets. I'm 44 year old , I found my self, and now that I got my self I don't know what to do with me and my bikes. Well that's just life . may be my motorcycle will take me to Mexico and central america? may be!

I don't know about you guys but, a few years back a decide to run my dr 650 with only one mirror (left of course) and that made the bike feel very unstable at highway speeds,my stering when crazy once I put the mirror back, the bike gained stability, actually I did not removed it on purpose, one of those things that the tarmac does for you. Now I do dot run it on the freeway if I do not have both mirrors. safety first. Hey getting older has to have some advantages like getting safer.

  11. what are the synptoms of hitting the rev limiter? I just don't know if the bike is running to lean or i;m hitting the rev limt. bike totally stock

  14. first time notice on my was going up hill, where more gas is neeed to keep the same speed, I'm thinkin may be a to lean condition specialy being totally stock.

I do have the exact same problem, 2006 totally stock form, it feels like the power to the espark plugs is cut off, i had another 650 two years ago and was running rich at high altitudes and the symptoms of running rich are diferent, is just feels so diferent, this one the power is cut off and on the other one is was a bogging.
