The dirt is red clay mixed with a little sawdust, not very many rocks. I did not race enduros, I ran mx, mainly n.c., s.c, tn.,va.

Most of the jumps are tabletops, there is only a couple of doubles, and they are easily done or just rolled over. One of the riders came from bristol tenn. and said that it was the most safe and good practice track around. He said he couldn't wait to come back. I went up there today and the bottom track looked perfect ( only cold ). I am going to ride tomorrow. Come on up I don't think you will be disappointed.
  3. Not sure if anybody realizes that the old thundervalley track in yadkinville is under new owners. They have changed the track and upgraded both tracks. They have even put in an arena cross track. Check them out at mx-421.com. Their website is under construction, but you can check out pictures and updates on their facebook page. Click the link at the bottom of their web site to take you there. Might I add they already have some major riders riding there. I hope everyone comes to check it out.

There is mx-421( the old Thundervalley track) in yadkinville. It is under new owners and they are doing an absolutly great job!!!! Come and check it out this weekend. They have a web site under construction, but you can get updates and photos on the facebook page. Hope to see you there!!!
  5. I am an old guy too and Thunder valley in yadkinville would be perfect. As stated already the track is great for us old timers and "noobs" too. The little ones track is right there also. Look up their web site @ thundervalleymotopark.com. Hope to see you out there, I ride 728 on a suzuki.
  6. I bought an 05 crf 450 front master cylinder and put in on my 05 rmz. all I can say is WOW! What a huge difference in braking. All I put on is the mc and reused the original hose and caliper. Solid feel at the lever and consistant. Unlike the feel from the stock rmz mc. It bolted right up no problems. I won't go back to stock.
  7. There is a nice track at Thundervalleymotopark.com. It is in Yadkinville. You can get the directions from the web site. They are open today from 1 to 6. It is a seperate track for the beginners and smaller bikes, so no need to worry about the bigger bikes. I will be there about 1 to 1:30. I ride a suzuki 450 # 728. Stop by and say hello. Hope to see you there. P.S. Oh I forgot to mention the charge for riding is 10.00 on the bigger tracks and 5.00 for the smaller track (not sure about the smaller track price) and a 1 year membership fee of 10.00. Again hopre to see you there.
  8. I am going to thunder valley. Track is prepped and has sawdust mixed in. http://www.thundervalleymotopark.com/
  9. I use Charlie's Soap and a scotch brite pad. Charlie's soap will not hurt the finish on aluminum and it is bio degradeable, which is another plus in my book. You can order it on line and they will ship it to your door.http://www.charliesoap.com/index.asp Check it out I have been using it for 10 years and I highly recommend it.
  10. Hey I was just wondering if you are going to be riding at T-valley or C-road this weekend? If so I may try to ride with you. And yes I too know of the one they call HAMMERHEAD.
