  1. I chose to go with the E-Line Carbon Fiber/Kevlar skid plate. It is absolutely bombproof, will outlast any aluminum plate out there, covers the rails and some of the casing without getting in the way, extends high in the front to keep the mud and dirt out, and looks more like a work of art than a bike part. It is not "quick relaease" though. 4 X bolts have to come off.
