  1. tried a #170 main today. Made big difference. air/fuel screw 1 3/4 out.
  2. Has anyone tried the de-emmision power back kit from F2 racing? I have an 07' WR250 and installed it. Did the usual mods along with it and i'm not sure it's right. They gave me a #150 main and a #35 leak to replace the stock #170 main and #40 leak. Plus the new needle on the 4th notch and airfuel screw. To me it seems way lean. no power on the bottom and sputters at a constant speed in the higher r's. Does this seam lean to anyone else? I run at 1500-3000 ft elev. Thanks for any help! DG
  3. I have done all mods according to their inclosed instructions. installed de-emission kit as shown, removed airbox snorkle, removed exhaust plug and changed jets to what they gave me. I have noticed most people on here are running mains in the #165-#185 range. This is why I question the #150. The stock one was a #170. I mostly ride in the Ca. desert at the 1500-3000 ft elev.

  5. Thanks. I'll try that.
  6. Does anyone know if the breather hose from the fuel tank to the canister should be left open or plugged when the canister is removed? I have plugged mine and seem to get alot of vacum pressure in the fuel tank. Will it starve fuel from the carb if plugged? Will it leak if left open?
  7. I just finished my new 06' last night and it rocks! Yosh RS-3, DJ needle, stock main and pilot, 3x3 and K&n filter. It powers the front end up now.
  8. It is not impressive in its stock form. The mods are a big help. But sure is a kick to ride around town. Cheap fun!
  9. I rode a converted WR450. It didn't feel right above 60mph. The motor is to high strung for freeway travel and I love WR's. I ride a 450. I looked high and low and ended up with the DRZ. I test rode it at the dealer and fell in love. I feel like I can cruise a while at freeway speeds on it. They have hop up kits for these that really wake them up. The handling is great with the RM front end and the brakes have great feel.
  10. Just traded my 6.0 gas for a Duramax. I would never go back. Fuel economy is way better on the diesel. The engine braking is worth its weight in gold too.
