  1. Did you notice that it only costs $56,000?
  2. I just installed the Dr. D full exhaust system. It gave the bike the sound I was looking for. A nice, deep throaty tone, and not overbearingly loud. It also really woke the bike up. I'm very happy with my decision.
  3. I'm in too. Let me know when.
  4. I forgot to mention that I am coming out from Connecticut, and won't have my bike. I am looking for a tour that supplies everything. Dave
  5. I am traveling out to Reno for business on Saturday for 5 days, and there will be some down time to get out and play. Does anyone know of a dirt bike tour out that way? If you have any information, please PM me. Thanks, Dave
  6. I had a bad experience with Midtown also. They quoted me one price for a tune on my bike and charged me about $75 more than I was quoted. I have since sold my Kawasaki, but I won't ever do business with them again.
  7. I was out in Waterbury today on business, and had some time to kill and went up to the dam. I stopped in and talked with one of the park rangers. He said that depending on the weather over the weekend, if it doesn't rain, they might open up on Monday. During my ten minute conversation with him, he must have taken about 5 calls from guys wanting to know if the dam was open or not.
  8. Now that they make these 2 way radios for helmets, maybe you can listen to the way the bike sounds and tell him when to shift.(just a thought) He will get it down eventually.
  9. I have an 05 CRF250X. I'm not sure about the lighting coil. I'll have to find out. Dave
  10. I am trying to figure out a way to get my bike registered so I can so some local Turkey Runs, and maybe an enduro eventually. In order to do these events, I need to have a street legal plate. I have been to these events and know that these bikes are not street legal, no mirrors, blinkers, and original knobbie tires. Many of them have out of state plates, mostly VT. How do I go about getting my bike registered without having to go through the hassle of installing a dual sport kit and street legal tires (not to mention spending the money for the kit), just to remove it all once I get the plate. I can get an ATV reg., but that limits me to just doing hare scrambles. Any help suggestions would be appreciated.

  12. Thanks for the info. I ride Rocky Hill every now and then.
  13. So does that mean you don't want to tell where it is? I don't race, but it is always fun to get out on different types of tracks. Just looking to find new places to ride and people to ride with.
  14. Where is this track? I live in CT, and would be interested in riding it if it wasn't to far away.
  15. There aren't many places to ride up this way that I have come across yet. I do know of a place more toward the MA. border. PM me if you are interested in getting together. Dave By the way, do you live in Glastonbury?
