  1. Does anyone have a link to this? Thanks in advance
  2. Anyone on here know of an oversize tank made for the '07 144sx? I checked clarke's and ims' website, but can't find anything yet.
  3. Is anyone on here someone who works at a ktm dealer in jersey? I just want some insight....... yeah, yeah, yeah... You all have yours or have seen one at a dealership. What's the friggen deal with new jersey, specifically south jersey not seeing any yet?
  4. who knows, i'm not into the theory of it, but you're more than welcome to go and look it up. I took the seal out, it basically crumbled in my hands. I put a new one in, it doesn't do it anymore. PROBLEM SOLVED. Good enough?
  5. well, if it was the crank seal on the flywheel side, it would be vice-versa. all of my motor oil would leak into my clutch. I have already checked the seals, and it was the clutch side crank seal.
  6. Anyone have any insight into what is entailed when replacing the crank seal on the clutch side. All of my gear oil leaks into my motor oil when I ride the bike hard. It usually doesn't happen when I am just putting around my yard. But, if I race or trail ride hard, all of it will travel over to the flywheel side. So much so that it will come out of the dipstick. I have already gotten the seal. I have an 04' x, but I ordered the 06' model because I had heard that it was supposively a newer, better design. Any info would be appreciated.
  7. What's the deal, KTM????? Some people get them, some don't????? I've heard of some people getting theirs, where's mine? I've even seen one on ebay, but I didn't want to lose my deposit. I've had it on order since last August. Hopefully i'll get it by this August. Anyone know when New Jersey might be seeing their shipment of them? The only thing that I keep hearing is next month, well, that's what they said last month. Does anyone on here actually work for ktm and know what is going on?
  8. Thanks charlie.. I'm in jersey as regards to location. The pipe is just one of those pro circuit platinum jobs.....
  9. I agree with sonobob.... its all personal preference. the shorter the bars are, the more the bike will have headshake at speed. the longer, the more stable. I also think that when you start out riding singletrack, it is more rewarding to have them cut short, sort of a confidence builder. But when you start getting faster, its better to have them a little longer. The more you ride, the more you'll start to notice how your bike reacts to little stuff like bar length, sag, suspension adjustments , etc. But what do I know.. I run mine at 31 1/2" in the south jersey enduros and 32" in the rocks for the pennsylvania runs. Dwight runs his pretty short for a fast guy and his resume says it all. Go with what works for you. Ride on!!!!!
  10. I have a 1994 cr 125 that I just picked up pretty cheap to flip around and resell. It has a brand new cylinder and top end, a pro-circuit platinum pipe and their shorty 304 silencer. I was wondering if anyone has any jetting suggestions. The power is completey flat from the bottom to the midrange, but once you get the bike on top, it rips. I wasn't sure if this could be jetting, or if that is just how the bike runs with the pro circuit pipe. any help at all would be appreciated.
  11. I've ridden 125's my whole life, i've never really ridden one like this..... something doesn't seem right...

  13. nah, not too many rocks, if at all where i'm at..all sand here in south jersey. maybe the occasional piece of bog iron... so, you've done this bodyman? no complications?
  14. Has anyone ever tried putting an "R" flywheel on an "X"? I have heard that they are about 4 ozs lighter. I could be wrong though.... I was thinking that it would definitely rev a lot faster. But, i'm not sure if will even work with the electronics with the x flywheel. Any info appreciated......
  15. Thanks for the link.......
