    00' rear brake resv. cracked

I have seen where others have had the same issue, and is most likely caused by heat from the exhaust pipe. I have found a replacement reservoir from an online site and they replied back stating that a Master cylinder from an 06-08 YZ250/450F should fit and has the reservoir built into the master cylinder. Has anyone done this or heard of it? Also has anyone made a simple heat shield to protect the factory one from the excess heat? Thanks

    Battery location 00' WR400F

Not too familiar with bikes, but I am curious as to where batteries are located on Yamaha WR's with electric start (not even sure of what models come with E start, but skimming through the threads I think the WR450 have it?) So taking that bike for example is it a bit bigger than say my 2000 WR400F that they have a suitable place for a cranking sized battery? I have a Dakar Dual sport kit on my bike and am looking to add a bigger battery to prevent my lights from dimming (almost nonexistent) at stops and my GPS from losing power everytime. I also may add some aftermarket lights for added visibility since there is lots of deer around. I am thinking I am kind of limited to mounting any battery in my air box. Thoughts and ideas are appreciated!
  3. Im just curious if anyone has one installed on their bike and has experience with it. I have one of these kits installed on my 2000 Yamaha WR400F. Biggest issue I am having is the battery just doesn't seem to be sufficient for the lights alone. Coming up to stops the headlight dims a lot. I turned the idle up some, and could maybe go a little higher. Now this I could probably live with, but I am also powering a Garmin Rino 120 (~4.5V, and Amp draw I don't imagine is much) and at idle with the brake lights on the battery isn't sufficient enough to keep the GPS on. But if anyone else is familiar with this kit I would like to know if you experience the same weakness of the battery. If this is common than I may look into mounting an extra battery somewhere. Otherwise maybe I have a weak coil, regulator, or maybe just a touch more Rpm's at idle would do. Any input, help would be greatly appreciated!
