Has anyone tried using, for example 10 x 1,2v NiMH AA batteries, which are about 2600mAh. This should be roughly the same capacity as the original lead-acid (3000mAh). At only 30g each, the new battery pack weight should be only 300g, as opposed to the original lead-acid at 2.7kg. I think that 2kg difference will be very noticable, especially after the 20th time you pick up your bike on a hill-climb. Any ideas?
