    Piston replacement?

I haven't had any oil loss on my X and I ride it pretty hard. If you ride it like a mx'er hitting the rev limiter all the time you might have to replace the piston and rings after 15 hrs. I ride in the woods and never ever even come close to the rev limiter and still stay in front of the 450's. some of them! Get the X and ride, you will not be disapointed.

Question for all of you short guys

I'm 5'7" and I just ride the s#%$ out of it. It's a little taller than my wr400 but I find that I don't have to put my foot down near as much. The bike is realy easy to ride!

    What to get????? R or X ???

I just came off a wr400 and it's the best thing I've ever done. Don't really miss the wr400 power to much.We ride mostly tight stuff.I can make better time on the 250x and it doesn't wear me out like the wr. I'm 5'7" 160 lbs

    Here's some pic's of FMF Ti4 on my X

I made my own quit core today out of some very thin wall 1 3/8 ID pipe and welded it to a thin flange. looks like the pictures of fmf's qiut core. Sounds about like the stock uncorked exhaust. but still alot lighter.
