  1. How difficult was it to put on the o ring? Wondering if its worth while putting the smaller one on.
  2. I have finished putting all the jets in my bike and am now on the last part of the JDJ Kit instructions. Says to put the thicker O-Ring over the pump timing screw. My question is, are people doing this or are people sticking with the stock O-Ring? There is the stock o-ring, thicker o-ring in JDJK, and a thickest o-ring in the JDJK. Which should I be putting on my crf250x. Thanks

  4. Also is the backfire screen called the air filter screen in the manual?
  5. Also is the backfire screen called the air filter screen in the manual?
  6. I am currently as I type installing my JD Jet Kit on my 2004 CRF250x and ran into a few walls. I am at 0-2500ft elevation and warm-hot temperatures. I have already installed the red needle on 5th clip down like the kit told me. I am now on my main jet and this is where im stuck. The JD Jet Kit instructions tell me to install a main jet #158 unless I have the backfire screen removed, and in this case install a main jet #162. First off is the backfire screen the metal oval shaped holder/bracket that the actual foam filter fits onto and then bolts into air box? If this infact is the backfire screen, do you recommend taking it out and just installing the foam filter with a main jet #162 or leaving the backfire screen on with the foam filter and installing the main jet #158. I'm currently working on the bike in my garage now so I'm waiting on replies before I continue. Thanks guys.

  8. the backfire screen the metal oval shaped thing that the foam filter fits onto to make one piece to bolt into the air filter box?
  9. Is the spark arrestor the same thing as a backfire screen? In the JDJ Kit they say use 162 main jet if backfire screen is removed. Is backfire screen an aka for spark arrestor?
  10. When you purchase the fuel screw, is it simply for adjusting the fuel screw that is already in the carb or are you actually replacing the old fuel screw? Also does it matter if it is brass or aluminum? If so why. Dumb question I know but newbie to mechanics and dirt bikes so wanna find out for sure.
  11. Import Charges of $43.26 for JD Jetting Kit and Honda Valve Video for my 250x? Are you !$%¿ing kidding me? Shipping and the items with taxes only cost $110 and I get charged that much for import charges? Is this correct? Anyone else in Canada ordered from American company and paid this rediculous ammount? I figured $10 bucks maybe since its a Jet Kit and Video at around $100 but not almost half FFS!
  12. Anyone gone with a full Yoshi system setup? If so what kind of results? Also how about pro circuit titanium full system? Again what kind of results?
  13. I just wish I had people to ride with where I live. All my buddies don't have bikes or sold them. Sucks! But its the same for me up here. Don't really know where to go to ride.
  14. what you guys think about maxxis tires? thats what im currently running. if you guys figure michelin m12's are better, should i go with 120/90-18 or 130/90-18 rear? I can't decide on size. alsO: i ride in various conditions including sand, dry and wet dirt/dusty,some mud, and rocky gravel pits.
  15. the jd jet kit has all the needed jets including the pilot jet am i right? all that needs to be purchased with a jd jet kit is a quality fuel screw?
