  1. IT looks as though he out some spacers in the bag so I would venture to say no... The 27.5 pilot was all I could get with labor day weekend upon us I will get a 25 ASAP, what should the fuel screw be at? It does run good just wanted to make sure I was in the ballpark Thanks again I plan on going to a big bore and fcr soon is the 41mm easier to get a hold of than the 39?
  2. DJ NEEDLE 4th position down, I am going off of what the jetting instructions say in the kit though. I did verify that he followed the directions per their direction:prof: And the stock needle is sitting in the box
  3. just picked up a 05 sm this past weekend and I'm looking for some jetting suggestions Previous owner put in a DJ stage 1 kit for his elevation (4000), mains range from 128 to 136 in this kit seems a bit lean I am at 1200 current mods are Yosh off road full system baffle/spark arrestor removed 3x3 mod/ k&n filter Bypassed all crank vents into custom catch can current jetting is: 147.5 main 27.5 pilot 2.75 turns out on fuel screw Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

    general carb ????

    I have a 99 klx 300 with a 340 conv. and a mik pumper tm 33 my question is at full throttle once the rpms build there is a sudden jerk almost like the rev limiter is kicking in am I on the right path thiinking that the rev limiter is kicking in or a main jet issue I've tried a 142.5,145 and now I'm on a 147.5 everywhere else in the throttle position seems ok. any suggestions

    Bill replied: I've seen a lot of used FCR's for sale cause the guys who buy them don't take the time to get it right. There is definately a bog issue with the FCR's, but it is easily fixable if you know what to do. Jerry will set it up for you, but I don't really believe that that is enough unless you're really lucky. You need to do your research, do your homework, tweak on the carb and you'll be one of the lucky few to experience the KLX with a properly jetted/squirting FCR. It's a sweet ride. Bill where can I find one of these FCR'S for sale?

    I was changing jets and needle position and I broke the accelarator pump lever It seems the part is no longer available. any suggestions or maybe somebody looking to get rid of a pumper. the part number is vm38/212
