    JD Jetting 525/450SX

Thanks again Eddie! Is the Ultimate 4 (oxygenated fuel ) worth the MONEY ($8-9 gallon)? ***If jetted proper, does it really add MORE horsepower than a proper jetted bike on 93 octane? If so, approx. how much? Also, have been told it makes the engine (don't know where) PITTY? This is why I asked if it was hard on the engine. Thanks, Kurt

    JD Jetting 525/450SX

Eddie, I'm installing a JD Jetting kit in my 2004 SX 525. (Thanks for your input) My JD recommended jetting is: 182 main Blue needle 3rd clip down 42 pilot jet Michigan (sea level), 70-75 degree, Motocross Question #1. If I install an ICAT on the bike, will my jetting stay the same? Someone said it makes the bike run a little leaner? And where would you make jetting changes for an ICAT? Question #2. How about running ULTIMATE 4 RACE GAS? Do you recommend these? People say it's instant power performance. Is this fuel harder on the engine? Does this fuel run leaner or richer than premium 93 pump gas? Where would you make jetting changes if I was to run ULTIMATE 4? Again, my JD recommended jetting is: 182 main Blue needle 3rd clip down 42 pilot jet Thanks again. I appreciate your expert help! Kurt northernoldman@yahoo.com

    JD Jetting 525/450SX

I have a 2004 SX 525. Motocross in Michigan, at sea level. 70-75 degree temp. Does run lean off bottom and lean in middle, so it does need a RICHER needle or the clip dropped. ***Anyone know BEST PROVEN PERFORMANCE needle for this bike? And clip position? I've been told a OCEMN? Any proven performance Jetting specs out there? I'm sure JD Jetting has a fine needle, BUT is also $70.00. Thanks.
