  1. I guess I really should include that I will ride the bike approx 2,000 mile in a year. I am not going to be overly aggressive on the street or the trail. I am 6'1" 220lbs. Teh terrain that I will be riding on is mostly trails, little or no mudd, dry/moist woods trails, no sand, some rocks and logs. Newbe mistake.
  2. Good Day, I am a newbe here, I have done a couple of searches and haven't found what I am looking for. So please forgive me if I am asking a stupid question. I plan on riding 80% street and 20% trail, my bike came with a great set of Michelin Knobbies, but they are trail only. It seems a waste to wear out a great set of trail tires with mostly street riding. I live in the U.S. in Pennslyvannia, inspection rules and the such apply. What tires do people here use and reccomend for dual sport use? Multiple reccomendations are great....good....better....best Thanks in advance, ShinySideUp p.s. I just got my bike and it is an 1993 xr250l sith 9,xxxmiles on it with hardly a scratch. Everything works and is in almost pristine shape. Only thing not stock is the tires, K & N filter, Moose jets in Carb and a Supertune by th e local shop. $1100 did I do good?
