  1. Thanks for the help. I'm the cousin in question, and I flicked (for lack of better term) the hot start a few times and could hear it moving in the carb, I guess, and started it with the choke on, then after I let it warm up, it actually kept running! I road it around the block a few times, idled it with clutch and in neutral and it seems to be working.
