Looking good McFly! Seems you left out a photo though. One with you standing next to your bike holding something...

Lincoln Hills+Little Manistee Trail ride Sat. Oct. 10th

Looks like you all had a great time! Maybe next time... The Great Lakes Grand Prix was a blast and I had my ass handed to me, but I finished. Unbelievable course!

Congratulations! Does she have any interest in upgrading bikes? Something with better suspension might make it more fun for her. I think Jeramey's maps have references for hotels and gas, hopefully he will chime in.

For Those Who Own More Than 1 Bike

Six right now, picked up a 79 RM125 to race at Vintage Days in Ohio this coming year. My hsuband complaints constantly about the maintenance, but won't let me do much and keeps buying more bikes...I think it's an incurable disease!!

    northern michigan color

We haven't peaked, but there are some truley brillant colors out (Wolverine/Gaylord/Petoskey), mostly bright reds and yellows. Probably next weekend will be peak, but it's still really pretty right now. Get that wifey on a bike!!

    Get Me Started In Dirtbiking!!!!

I've got an 02 KX100 for sale. Needs nothing, lots of good add ons, set up for woods riding. We're up north by the Mackinaw Bridge. We've done the mods to open it up and the suspension has been professionally done for my weight w/gear (145lbs), no FWW. Adult owned, never raced (well one enduro). If you start out on a mini, buy used because at your height you'll be wanting a full sized bike soon. I rode the 100 for two seasons and took over my husband's KTM200 this summer and that is a blast too, but you might do better starting off on a smaller bike first. There's also the KTM105sx/exc that is a very nice mid sized bike. You don't sound like someone who would be happy with a 150f or 230f. Don't let these guys scare you, you don't have to start on a "play bike", but you've got to have all the gear and be willing to get farted off once in a while and take some knocks. I survived and I'm fine!
