    Chain/sprockets

So what would I need to put sprockets at to make as close to my current 15/47 set up but not using a 15 up front? Just don’t like how tight the 15 is currently up front.

I appreciate the response and opinions. I’m steering towards the 14/48 combo as this scenario seems to be good for most of my needs. Any other input or opinions would be appreciated.

    Chain/sprockets

I recently picked up a 2005 crf450x. The previous owner changed the sprockets to 15/47 at some point and time. From the little time I’ve ridden I really like the gearing set up. It has amazing top end and still plenty of grunt down low for riding single track. Just curious to hear from others that are running the same set up. The only thing I see that’s a little tight is running the 15 tooth sprocket. Just want to hear from other people since I am gettIng ready to change the chain/sprockets and I’m thinking about going with the same set up.

    NEW KLX OWNER

I have a 2000 kx 250 and just purchased a 93 klx 650 for thumping around in the Arizona desert. I would like to know the little things that can be done for a power boost. I find many sites that give tips about the 300, but there isn't much I have found for the 650. The last owner put a fan on it so it stays cool. Everyone knows the first year didn't come with the fan. It has a pro circuit platinum exhaust. I don't want to do anything hi tech to the bike, like put a different carb in. The CVK will be fine for me. Just looking for some things to do with the new toy. Thanks
