  1. I have a Fox Proframe MTB helmet, it’s DH certified, but could never see using it on my dirt bike. Unless your doing about trials speed...? 10mph or less? Our trails can pretty pretty tight, but there’s always some straights to wring it out on.
  2. Wow, good to see this thread still going strong, and Mog still answering questions left and right - should be a paid TT position by now...! Keep gripping and ripping!
  3. You get used to the quick snap of the YZ if you stick with. So much so for me that when I switched to 4T, my right wrist got sore trying to crank the dang thing open even in the woods. So I put a quick turn throttle on the 4T to make it more like a YZ!

Star Powersports in Stacy have nitro setup, too...they used to be on here more, like me....
  5. Wow, glad to see this thread still alive and kicking! You guys are lucky Numroe is still around here giving the same answers over and over for the past 2 years....I’m basically running most of his common suggestions, and they work great! But one thought on the secret sauce - I did the 17.3 replacement on the mid with a 15.25 to also get .05 extra float from stock and got right where I wanted. Results may vary, good luck and have fun!

I’m there Sunday, maybe both those days. I’ll look for ya, otherwise I should be there with wild bill and Kelly M. Would be fun to spin, wanna see how many trees you’re not hitting with the new bike!

Shhhh....Not all the trails there are ‘on the map’...er, I mean, I have no idea what you’re talking about.
  9. I believe so, unfortunately. For a while, might be able to cram kids bikes behind a 2nd row seat.
  10. 4 pages and 3 posts about the actual race...!!!
  11. Ive seen the speed toad trailer in question and no way would I consider pulling it with a VW TDI car, and I work at a VW dealership. The older Pilots you’d be looking at for $10k can also be known for blowing trannies. You might be on the right track with an older Pathfinder - like circa 2008 - thats still truck-based, and Nissan always built with more power than Toyota or Honda. Those are nice rigs. Lots of good suggestions in the Merc diesels, if you can go around double the budget, you can also find a decent Touareg TDI that will make you smile every time you hit the pedal...No matter what, you’re looking at something that’s gonna get low-20s on the highway at best while not towing unless you go Euro-diesel.
  12. Ogio. My latest Baja is crazy well built and the bladders have kicked camelback ass for years...

According to ‘sources’, Mora trails are posted as open to motorcycles. Not sure how much of it is, and haven’t attempted to ride there...yet.

Gotta do Meadow Valley HS, since lot of us work that one. Otherwise, for Hare Scrambles Kensington, Troll and Millville are all good and hilly and fun. The Gnarly Hills enduro in Iowa is super fun, and for sure the hilliest. Akeley is fun terrain too. Don’t let anyone talk you into riding Mora!
