Honda CRF250X 2005 Reviews

The crf250x is an excellent trail bike. I've owned mine for 11 years and have 400 hard hours on it. I've replaced the piston 2X as preventative maintenance. The original valves need to be adjusted regularly. Since installing Kibblewhite Stainless steel valves I've checked the valves 3X in 9 yrs, and adjusted 2 shims. Other than scary long steep hills(Carnegie SVRA) its not a problem keeping up with friends on bigger bikes. crf450x, 300xcw, KTM350xcfw. Sure, in a drag race it gets beat, on a real life trail system the crf250x is pretty impressive. Reliability, suspension, light weight and handling are great. It would be nice to have a bigger fuel tank.

Bike is new to me I just rebuilt the entire engine. So I will up date after I have some time on it.

Wicked fun bike with great low end power, It’ll pull a wheelie all the way to China. Tackles both trails and tracks with ease.

Lowered and suspension set up for gnarly PNW.
